i dont think nas is saying that Fox is the direct enemy, more like a piece of the puzzle. because you cant deny that out of all the forms of media on the "idiot box" that fox is the most negative.

more and more in the news now we're faced with a new problem in the world. today it's gas, raw foods, jobs, crime and leadership. tomorrow; who knows. but we fall right into it, we fall into the hate, the fear, and the egos of the world today so much so that we dont even realize what's happening.

we glorify bad and turn our noses up to good... focusing on blending in, "cus if you dont blend - if you dont live the way "MC dBoy" is saying he lives because it's "Trill".. then you are considered the lame" (just an example... you could use many analogies). and then we throw rocks at the outcast.

what's really Real when you have 12-year-olds from the Burbs convicted of 1st degree murder? what's really Real when you only have one gang in your city? (who are they ganging up against?) what's really Real?

but the focus is not the media, not the crime, not the jobs, not that the dollar means nothing, not that kids are moving to 4 day a weeks for school cause bus-drivers need to save money on gas..... it's none of that... the focus is on ourselves. the day we stop giving in to the false realities tossed at us each day, is the day we will grow.
