The current state of the Middle East is causing worldwide turmoil. Whether it’s the state of Iraq or the Hezbollah (sp?) bombings by Israel in response to other bombings. Do you feel that the struggles in the Middle East could lead to an actual World War? Or, will the US back Israel and other countries stay out of it?

weve allreday discussed this pretty recentley...but...

it depends..its a well known fact iran set up hezbollah and supports them monitarily [as does syria]
And recentley is was reported that israeli troops found iranian soldiers fighting with hezbollah. I think it could blow up very easily if iran and syria get seriously involved, that is, using there militaries to fight israel. Then we [the US] will have to engage, and so on and so on...it has serious potential to be the begining of WW3. I think we are in the early stages as it is, but this could be the spark that sets it off.

see, i think these days thou any world war will be mild..
not saying it wont be a big deal, but think about it...a serious world war would completely destroy the earth seeing as how advanced technology is today and the power of nuclear warfare, see that prolly wont happen thou cuz ppl are at least smart enough for that

however, I wouldn't doubt a things poppin off into what they would consider 'world war 3'

honestly, we just need to stay the hell out of their business, let them handle their own shit, and worry about our numerous problems first

the easier said than done. I wish we could just let them work out there own problems. They thing is, first off, israel is our ally, and we have to stand with our allies. second, hezzbollah and people like them, want one world under islamic rule, and are willing to fight for decades to get it. It will not just resolve itself. If we let them get to powerful, its just a matter of time before there attacking on our shores. Its kill or be killed. and as far as israel-lebanon is concerned, there is a good and truthful saying: If hezbollah and the terrorists laid down there weapons, there would be no more conflict. If israel laid down there weapons, there would be no more israel.

yeah, i mean the iran hostage situation was in the 70's. They been attacking us since the 70s, and it had nothing to do with bush then, and has nothing to do with bush now.

and the last thing you said, thats what israel is doing. Before they have been bombing the southern lebanon cities, they've been pamphleting the area telling innocent civilians to get out because they are going to bomb.
