no disrespect, but forget NBA Live 2003. the best simulation basketball game that is coming out this year will be NBA 2K3.
over 90 different basketball handles and crossovers, over 50 different dunks, and this year Sega has added a "dive" function, which no other basketball game will have which really adds to da reality of da game. NBA Live is gonna be cool, but if you want da best overall game, holla at 2K3.
and while we're on da sport of basketball, if ya'll into college basketball games too, heres some friendly info:
Sega Sports is also comin out with College Basketball 2K3 which will be based on da same game engine that NBA 2K3 is developed on. so College Basketball 2k3 will blow EA Sports' March Madness 2003 away. thought you should know.

Im don't hate on Nba 2k game's i like them, I like the way the game play's and the people move, it's more realistic, but i like the option's on Live because of the Franchise, creating rookies,draft, and all the shoe's different player's have, but Live 2003 is gonna be better this year, it will have more moves and dribbles with the new analog control, the coache's will be on there, creat-a-team, and expanded Franchise year's. | |

NBA 2K3 got all that shit too, maybe not da shoe joint but everything else you mentions and more. if you don't believe me pick up this month's issue of Game Informer, it does a side by side comparison of all da basketball games that are comin out this fall(NBA Live, 2k3, NBA Fever, and some joint with T-Mac on da cover). | |

yo i've played both joint and i got 2k3. both are ill ass games, and i'm not afraid to admit i'm wrong, live 2003 is a nicer game this year only for the fact you can control your players right and left hand will dribblin give you a more realistic feel when it comes to crossovers. but as far as realness goes, 2k3 has way more features and a more realistic gameplay. so truthfully if you love basketball games you gotta go cop both joints. just my opinion. | |

lol, nah dottie my info wasn't bogus. i was only going on the info i read of like 3 video game magazines. and da only true way to see if a game is hot or not is hands on experience, nahmean. Live has nicer dribbles, but in my opinion, NBA 2k3 is the overall better game, but if you want a game just cause they have da most handles then Live is da game for you. like i said, if you're a true b-ball fanatic, like me, you'll get both joints. it doesn't matter which one you buy if you only buy one, cause they're both worth da money.
also is anyone serious about getting da online network adapter for da ps2. cause i'm seriously thinkin about it.

People told me about it, everybody say's live is hot this year, i heard they got some shit of handles on that joint. But i do think 2k is more realistic, but im a true Live fan, so when i cop a new Ps2 i'll probally pick both of them up. | |
