Default Who Got Hiphop Is Dead Yesterday?

I waited for it to hit stores and didnt bump the advance, just like I did with Lupes joint.

So far it sounds like a classic and best album of the year. Honestly. 4 1/2 mics worth so far. Game dropped a Gem on "Hustlers". First 3 tracks are all dope as shit. Lyrics on this album is Top Notch. Only thing questionable is the usual nas beats. "Hiphop Is Dead" should have had an original beat instead of reusing the "Thiefs Theme" beat. But I do like the track more than I did when I seen the video. I thought "Black Republican" could have been better for the first ever Nas and Jayz track, but it was still good. Still giving the album a good listen though but so far its def HEAT. $10 worth spending.

Go support this album!

i always love nas' lyrics and thats probably one of the only reasons I listen to him. I love the album. Hustlers, Blunt Ashes, Hip Hop is Dead, Black Republican, and a few others are all great songs.

i got it the day on wednesday its hot best album i heard this year, im feeling "who killed it" "carry on tradition" and "still dreaming" right now. overall good shit much better than i expected though i kinda liked the style of beats he used on streets disciple more because on that album he had more 'real' drums on the drum patterns but overall shits tight

The shyt is hot. Nas did a real good job with this album. If you hear it, you'll love it. I don't care where you from or what music you like you'll love it. Some of beats are different than usual. And that voice he immitates on one song may be annoying to some, but the album is incredible. One of the best of the year if not the best.

Many knock the album becuase of the title "Hip Hop is Dead". But before you judge, hear the album to understand what he's talking about. Some niggas are too quick to take offense instead of understanding the idea.

I've always gave Jay Z an edge ova NAS...for what reason..Iono honestly
Just prefered his sound.

Not saying I aint respect NAS as top 3 of the era tho. Just slated Jay ova him.

This is "not" The case now.

NAS finally went back to being creative with the social issues of today and/or atleast mentioning them.

Best album this year by far.

I had Jays album when it dropped.
And I havent even listened to it since NAS dropped.

Dude took it back ....I can definately dig that.

-Hiphop was dead..
