Whats Up With The New RF?

Aight, i've been gone for a while here, and i come back to post some old audios and stuff and i check out some other peoples and all i here is this commercialized stuff, what ever happened to the old RF, with Sever and Pale, and everybody with the ill multis and high vocab, it seems like its all been substituted for flow, i mean i don't see anything with substance or meaning nemore, i just wanna know what happened, everything used to be so alive and burning on this forum...

all those people have blossomed into offline artists. and a lot of people are just enjoying that "flow" rap that youre talking about, so thats why they do it.

i just don't like it, i mean if i wanted to hear that i'd just listen to the radio, i always came here cuz it was different, and although the vocab was higher and the multis were more consistent the flow was still there, iunno, it just seems to simple, like mroe could be put into the rhymes...iunno...

The type of kats that complain that "flow/delivery is great, but there's no references to the government or NASA" are the dudes that CANT flow and deliver, hence Jeriko, someone who cant flow or deliver, is the one who made this thread. Simple as that. You call yourself an Emcee right? If you want to hear it, record it. It's a luxury we have. I make my type of music, for me, you make yours for you. I dont give a shit if your lyrics is top notch, if you cant spit you aint shit, and half these scientific spitting rejects, like Jeriko, Enjoe, and a shitload of others cant spit for shit bottom line.
It's like ya'll perfected your lyrics, but forgot to work on your flow.
I've been through a lot of stages, I've gone from spitting simple, spitting raw, spitting intelligent, spitting murderous, spitting cocky...I've done it all, it just comes down to which one suits the ARTIST. Even Mos Def got "the john shaft caulked back and loaded". It's versatility, not fakeness.

if youre listening to music to hear vocab, just rent an audio book version of the dictionary and throw away your headphones. there is more to hiphop then multis and a thersaurus.
