in my city of calgary, alberta canada... i just saw talib kweli.. most amazing show i've been to yet.. but heres the fucked part.. he was opening for Black Eye Peas....
my friends and i surveyed a vast portion of the crowd and came to the conclusion that about 10% of the people there knew who Talib was.. and the other 90% had no clue and just came to see BEP..
how can there be this many stupid people in the world.. it tears me apart..
Talib was well worth my 60$ though so i didnt even bother staying for bep, but damn... anyone else feel this is wrong?? |

word one.. they played edmonton sunday night.. i didnt go.. but what i heard from a number of people.. talib easily stole the show.. people were phoning the radio station saying talib was the best part lol.. so on the posative side of this travesty.. he's getting the appropriate exposure.. i was going to buy tickets just to see talib.. but i didnt wanna be like 50 rows back in rexall place.. lol..

criticize.. i most likely would have stayed.. but i have strep throat and was sick as a mah fucka.. i havnt left my house in the last 4 days.. and i barely managed to make it to see talib.... but it doesnt even matter.. bep would have brought the show down after talibs appearance.. like i cant even explain the energy dude has on stage
eL.. u shoulda gone.. well worth the money.. i was close enough to the see sweat on talibs face =)

You know when BEP was hott? Back in 97 when they aint have a front man. All of them was doing they shit evenly. Now, I dont even remember the names of the 2 other dudes, and all they do is dance in the background like bitches, and they cool wit that. Not only that, Will.I.Am aint even that nice no more son.
