Damn this thread's getting slept on.
Last hip-hop LP I picked up was Foreign Exchange Instrumentals just as something to write/vibe to. 9th comes correct on everything and it's a real good listen. Picked up Nas-One Love 12" for the remixes which are both dope, and it's my fave track off Illmatic.

last album i copped

prolly was either
John Legend- Get Lifted
or
Mos Def- The New DAnger

copped em for the reason that they different right now and definitely deserve the support
Mos rappin over rock beats on some tracks then over some kanye beats...chea he is a lyrical god

John just on top now with productions and has a nice nice voice..good message in some of his songs too

Yeah someone sent me a few "DJ Shadow" tracks like a few months ago 'n It sounded pretty nice , last album I bought wazzzzzzz ...

Well yesterday I walked Into my local record-store 'n picked up "Wu-Tang Clan - Best Of The Temple" which basically Is a compilation album of their greatest hits 'n hype creating freestyles/singles/promo's ... It's a double CD that also contians like 50 minutes of video footage (Performances , back-stage etc.)

Just a collectors Item I guess , but of great meaning to the genre of hip-hop.

sleep, average cd only picked it up to support my hometown hip hop.
2pac, had to re-up my lost cds.
felt 2, probably the best hip hop cd i've heard that has been released this year.
james brown, ain't nothing fucking with the funk.
gorillaz, solid sophomore effort.
charles mingus, straight genius.

that was my latest trip to the record store, planning on making another trip tomorrow. i know 3 of these cds aren't considered hip hop so feel free to delete my post if you want. if not ill let you know about tomorrows endeavors.

Most definitely feeling "Pastor Troy" 'n the "D.S.G.B." clique , I'ma cop that album as well cause I'm curious on the sound.

Started listening to him since "Pastor Troy - By All Means Necessary" came out back In like 2002 or 2003 'n followed his moves around so ended up copping "D.S.G.B. - Till Death Do Us Apart" 'n I was pleasantly surprised once again. Some dope material Indeed worth your money.

I was thinking about expanding my "Brother Lynch Hung" collection so I'll post up my purchases anytime soon.
