| I write to beats to ensure the flow is on point. You write to no beat, that's how your bars get out of order, unless you know what you doin. |

Rep Power: 7 | well i always write to the beat i intend to spit on...you don't wanna be gettin jiggy on some somber blockhead shit etc. also, quite often the tempo dictates how i flow, i'll come a lot more straight forward on faster beats and try and make my flow a bit more complex on slower beats.

Rep Power: 7 | If you can make beats, then by all means you can write first. But listening to a beat first may help inspire you to write. It may be hard to write a song if you have lyrics about going to heaven, but then you get a lil jon beat.

Rep Power: 4 | u better be good if ur gonna right first...
the only way to really blend wit a beat is to write to it
to its breaks choruses bridges etc..
but sometimes i jot down lyrics uninspired by a beat
sometimes ill find that a verse i wrote for one track fits better on another beat blah blah
but yea i think its easier to sound better writting to a beat
but easier to come up wit a verse w/o abeat

Rep Power: 5 | I think you should have a beat first, so when you write ya shit will flow nicely, but if you know how to make beats and you nice, you can make the beat to flow well with what you've written
