I dont know, but I think I might just get someone to change shit around on this current shit and make it better instead of buying new one. to tell u the truth, I think its one of the best forum designs out there.
The header gotta go, I dont know maybe the yellow links should be changed to white or some shit, maybe the background should be changed also, do some color changes and also the main forum will get changed around.
drop your inputs/thoughts/ideas and opinions about the current design
dont be afraid, tell the truth .. everyone opinion will be respected. good or bad |

gradients would be nice, instead of solid tone colors.... A shoutbox could be added, if it don't eat too much BandWidth... but other than that man.. Maybe a new Banner, more techno and realistic looking... thats my opinion...

The colours and template is RAPFLAVA, so a maybe a skin chooser, keeping this style and new ones.. A new Banner.
More forums, Computer forum, Awards, Interviews etc.
Shoutbox yea.
Home page maybe, with some hiphop news on it etc etc.
Ill holla when more ideas.

True about the spammers, but you can get boxes with permissions, so that say u need 500 or a thousand posts to use it :) just FYI incase u didn't know....
The banner needs changed up... the R/F dude is cool, but the banner itself is getting old in style... Theirs better ways to make it look like it does with better end effect... Maybe get some one to code us a "Flash" banner... cuzz vB has the hack to change ur banner from .jpeg to .swf compatibility i believe ( i know phpBB does so )... but yeah few more insights...

Chris, im sure me and some other graphics heads can help you out with some new banners, logos, splash page and main page if you need it.
i think if you open the store back up and make it interactive like features where you can "buy" cds from the download area... http://www.rapflava.com/forums/showthread.php?t=90597 like this idea.
also if you save yourself the money on a new design, and spend it on advertising on places then we could get lots of new members. i think getting the audio section up and active should be a main priority.
Fero Blaque said he got some plans for the hiphop discussion area, so im sure he could get some of that shit poppin.
The RFBL seems to be really active with textcees, id just like to see a more active audio section. maybe when we get more members, something like the hold the throne league would work out alot better.

I dont know what this main page looks like... if you're using the design made a while ago or not... but if you make multiple style choices, a style with a similar design to the main page would be nice.
I've only used up to version 3.0.8., so I dont know the extra features in the newer one... but the vbulletin sites out there have some pretty dope hacks on there... which Id imagine you already know about (vbulletin.org, etc...). | |
