If you didn't know, the key to weight loss is cardio. A diet is very important, but if you wanna lose fat there's nothing better than a cardio workout.

In my experience, jump roping is the best activity you can do next to swimming. 30 minutes every day of some type of cardio will help you burn the fat off your miserable stomach. It's all for nothing if you can't keep it off. That's where the diet comes in, added to the daily cardio workout = kiss your fat ass goodbye. I've been told to do the cardio in the morning after you wake up. That way you're not burning off the calories you just took in from breakfast.

Losing weight isn't as hard as it seems. Getting the motivation to start, and keep it up is the hard part. I can't, and won't try to help there.

Anyone care to debate/discuss/add on.. feel free.

Cardio won't do shit for you if you don't diet..and like you said, besides a diet the most important thing is your willpower to lose weight and diet..without that you're nothing..

And cardio after you wake up is sooooooooooooo not good for you, whoever told you that needs to read his manual again..if you do cardio after you wake up you'll exhaust yourself, since you didn't get in any water etc.. you will dehydrate yourself wich is a bad thing..

if you have 3% bodyfat or less you will be able to see your "sixpack" but it'll be like a skinny dude sixpack if you know what i mean..if you have a "normal" stomach just do your situps or i don't know what -you do for training and ull get a much better looking sixpack, ofcourse a diet is important..

actually if you didnt a glass of water before you go to bed and a bottle when you wake up you will have enough water to keep yourself hydrated through your run, depending on the length...

Sorry I didn't go into specifics.

I figured everyone who's going to workout will know to have water with them. I meant before you ate breakfast, not the second you hop out of bed before getting water or shoes or whatever else you feel like having with you...

Rize, you're basically repeating my post. Cardio is like the missing link to a proper diet... you can have one without the other, but both of them together will get the best results. Added to that a decent weight training routine...

When it's warm out side I usually ride my bike in the morning.
I go to this park and take a trail that's like 5 miles...

So that's what I usually do in the morning, then later when I get home.
I just lift weights...

I perfer gatorade over water..
