I can't get on the site at home because of that zend optimizer thing that keeps coming up. So Im not sure if I can post from home. I am at work right now & im gonna try to write a verse here & post it before I leave, so I can not no show & make a gay match.

**Edited to say that I assume the problem is fixed, therefore I will be doing a verse tonight. Hopefully theres no problem because I have a Mac.

No voice at all? I'll get my point across wit my spray can
Bullets hit my brother Nocenti, while in school with his class
I told myself to never die from a death as stupid as that
You cant listen to the news & the lies that they give you
So, now I decided to spray paint his name to pay tribute
The cops knew of my plan from some kids in the street
But I refuse to give this up until my missions complete
This is unique, I name each color by themes & type
Blue was fear...red was hope...............& green was life
Reached the door with every spray paint in the house
Then I stopped when I saw cops outside staking me out
I turn around & went the back way down the fire escape
Raced down the alley's & climbed over wires & gates
Turned the corner, I saw two men & both were cops
Should of known, across the street was a donut shop
So, I tried to walk straight but then "HEY YOU STOP!"
I froze, ran & gathered my paint but the blue dropped
I had tears on my face, started praying to who? God
Hoping he can guide me there safe to the schoolyard
Still heard sirens & now Im feeling as if Im a dead man
This backpack was heavy, so I took out all the red cans
I finally reached the wall & quickly pictured designs
Wasn't worried about police, got the shit off my mind
Spraying his name, hope my brother is now happy
Continue wit my head up, if he's looking down at me
I heard tires screech at the last spray from the can
Telling me to drop it now & start raising my hands
But I noticed, oh shit, an error, I forgot to write *shot fired*

That was my fav lines outta ya verse dam.....u painted me a pretty clear picture....i feel like i've read it before so that took away from some of the anticipation that i was lookin for.....it was a damn good verse but plain to me u know

That was my fav lines from u.....ur verse was a thrill seeker u know like something for grown folks.....i liked the ending...didnt see it comin.....wish u would have sprayed something before u got caught or whateva but ay.....


All in all both verses were good as hell.....and i dont vote on topical battles that much.....
i feel dam's verse was like for middle/high school kids
while 7ths was for grown folks or the mature people(not sayin ur verse is inmature dam)

i feel alot like byrdie does...i really like to two lines he stated from both of you...yet i felt different on the winner.. D just my interest...i was drawn to his story and how it was played out...dont get me wrong 7th had a very nice verse as well..but D just caught this one hands down.. i really enjoyed both reads...if i need to break ti down more let me know

Dam : one of the things that stood out from your verse was the creativity.... you took it beyond and made it much more than just graffiti... Story telling was pretty hot, you led from one area to the next smoothly and brought it up to the ending nicely... the only really bad thing about the ending is it was only really 1 of 2 options... die or escape... so i had a 50/50 chance at knowing what would happen...Imagery was sick and the multies really helped this shit flow from beginning to end, with maybe one or two forced...

you had a pretty good verse... i think you started off a little week, tho i did like the whole dark assassinz shout out... then got going pretty nicely in the middle but cooled off a little at the end...overall a pretty strong showing... your imagery was also real nice andas far as story telling goes you were definately on point...the wording needed some work... for 3 lines you rhymed in with in... so that kinda took away from it...the ending kind of took off your verse... u shoulda ended it with a couple lines after hurry up n get in the van...the federal agent flip was eh... kinda took it too far to the extreme....


Overall: I gotta give this one to Dam... the whole thing he did with the paint cans was just nice and really added to the strength of his already strong showing... 7th did a good job... but i think Dam's overall creativity and presentation were just better...

Whoa, this was close. Really well delivered storylines from both of you.. RFBL rookies of the months no matter who wins this.

xDAMx - I really liked how you opened this up, supported it in the middle, and capped it off at the end. Throughout, the steady rhyme scheme had nothing objectable, the ideas clearly presented with the addition of the comical donut line. I sensed the determination in your character.. but not enough detail was provided of how his brother's death affected him enough to cause him to solely pick up a spray can and paint the walls with glory. Still though, well done, hope to see more topical verses from you.

^I could tell that the rhythm was slightly forced here due to setting the scene with the limitation of sound.. happens sometimes. This entire thing could be dope with editing.

7th Crescent - Hahah, I think there's been about 7 crews called "Dark Assassinz" on RF and on other sites in general in the past. Cool name choice. You seem to have knowledge of the craft of graffiti, because elaborating on the surroundings, paint qualities, and drugs set the tone for the theme. It opened up lively with a barrage-like approach that fused the plot.. more of a realistic setting then xDAMx but less organized in word choice and outcome. Everything connected until the conversation during a police chase.. I know it's like a narrational exaggeration of what really happened, say in a TV show the scene pauses for commentary from a character.

I loved the DA complacency line, gave me a great outlook into graffiti for a second. Those were the highlights and lows. Enjoyed reading this battle.. the best topical read of recent weeks, both came with it.
