Im actually liking this topic, got an idea of what I wanna do.

The verses are due in two days? I dont know if I can do that, but well see

Cross ExaminaTion

I started the day like any other where I'd find fractions of relics
...But this story of what I found I never could imagine to tell it..2
It was a method of execution laid down by persians & romans
That a man would give his life while on the verge of atonement..4
Why would they perform these acts of torture like sick heathens
Though some would rather have mistreatment then miss treatment..6
They'd arise & announce how they would slaughter the scorned
& then started to form disarrays of wood, blood, water & thorns..8
I knew of this occurring & many people were impaled by the verdict
I glanced closely & saw holes where I guess the nails were inserted..10
Further analysis into this artifact I noticed blood stained the board
This must be thousands of years old but looks like it was days before..12
I blinked to wonder the excitement as I then took a sample of fluid
Couldn't envision what else I would find in this land of the ruins..14
I took my camera & camcorder to help me photograph the find
& looking deeper to better my knowledge on the artifacts design..16
It had minor etchings & carvings of possibly a scripture of evil
Then my partner came over & said, "No, that is written in hebrew"..18
It said nothing that helped us or even mentioned repentance
But it wasn't finished & I would really seek the end of the sentence..20
We took everything back to the lab to further research & testing
Thats when I noticed at the top of the item was the numbers "10-03"..22
What could this mean I asked my partner, the message escapes me
OMG, Wait a minute..Its position in the alphabet are the letters J-C..24
Could this mean..?? I was stopped for the results for the finds DNA
They were impossible & they had traced a bloodline to my name..26
I look at the find once again & started to pray for all of those killed
As I prepared to bring this sacred object back to golgotha hill..28
It was all there for me to see but I just couldn't believe the sight
I had found the cross in the crucifixion of our lord jesus christ........30

honestly.. this was 1 sided in my eye's..7 th came decent but he didnt drop nuthin special,his lyrics were a bit basic,flow was off at some points of the verse,story wasnt horrible but i think that Dam got this one.His story was a bit better...flow n lyrics not as basic as some flow in his verse was off at points too but outta the both mcs i gotta go wit dam..topic was ill i was looking forward ta this battle to see who would catch a better vibe of the topic but ne ways..

Ah.. lately there've been many similar concepts from opponent to opponent in topicals. The league needs better, more diversified topic selections for the writer to excel more than they would with a more limited topic. (Depends on the writer, of course)

7th Crescent - You had the emotion down and you wrote it with an interesting twist. I did find myself kind of immersed in the lack of detail and engagement between the brother and his divine sibling. You always use dialogue in your verses so that had no choppiness to it because you're experienced with it. Simple rhyming, executed to expectation, I'm satisfied.

xDAMx - As usual, a more potent and heavily armoured rival. First 2 bars were flames.. I was getting into it, but from then off I was also immersed in the detail itself, which was never lacking. The problem with your verse was the almost monotone narration of how I read it to myself. It didn't have that commanding voice that tells a story.. but more of a gentle, solidly told tale, which is excellent rhyming skills.

Battle of the same concept.. and xDAMx wins by strength. Your both getting better and better as you hold it down for the RFBL. I'll be back soon..
