| re: Topical Belt: ((Pembroke)) vs. 1/2 Wit It Thanks for setting things up Strong.
G/L Pem.
They say that there's someone out there, tending the light
At the end of this degenerates definitive life
Yet each whim was ignored: Every grimace and wince
Innocent niggas in prison as if the sentence was missed
..Where is his Lord? Maybe his vision is shit..
Or he's simply watching the living; isn't giving a shit
Don't be scared, I'm sure we share their doubt too
Didn't despair for them. Why should he care bout you?
An angel in Half's dreams with deranged approach
He remains the ghost, many claim to have seen
In a range of quotes attatched to black prestige..
Dude you've been trapped since you do infact believe
All that science n biblical nonsense defined as pityful content..
Be honestly conscious of the constant trivial comments
And the individualism of lyrical comets..
Which is outta site, for instance let's period Com it
In the existence of random events..this planet's damned,
"to the advantage of mannequins", says the manic convinced
So forget his plummet to earth..that's dumb n absurd,
I'm the one ya should serve..he only wants to Observe!
**edit: didn't know it was 12 bars max!
oh well, i only went 10..G/L again Pem**

| re: Topical Belt: ((Pembroke)) vs. 1/2 Wit It Genesis: Theoris
The creature amongst the nebulous gems scratched his lavender head
Stranger in a sea of luminious nothingness, the Galactus he tread
Oversaw the rotation of Jupiter's moons, whirled around a stark Saturn
All the while slipping back, unseen into the dark matter
Incomprehensible thoughts loomed, so it compiled a list of answers
God of gods disembarking pods from ships and ramparts
Everything you believed was impossible is true, exists
The evidence consists of more than just bear tracks or human prints
Space travel, the blank scaffolds of air tracts and fusion drips
We looked into the abyss as the eyes of the cosmos stared back in unison
There's no air in space... there's only terrestrial hints of putrid mist
After the convergence, somehow this breed survived in etherlight
Adapted to the vast darkness and then became the chiefs of life
A grand idea had dawned on one in particular.. so began an emergent form
There was a purpose born when the Earth was born
A species to colonize the galaxies and become the master race
Not the type of destructive species that would cause a disastrous space The dawn of the amnesty.. I will call them Humanity.

Rep Power: 5 | re: Topical Belt: ((Pembroke)) vs. 1/2 Wit It wow nice battle i dug both verses for different reasons to say the least haha
umm lets see
well with half wit its
i enjoyed the story but more so the way it all flowed was really nice not over the top just really nice
and made me shoot through it quite easily
so thus making it a nice read.....
pems verse was more a story than concentrating on flow thats not to say it didnt flow
just compared to half i thought the flow wasnt as good but i mean thats your style pem and i dig that
about ur stuff
well to me pems story was really nice i enjoyed it just a little more
had a really cool concept and delivery with your wording in this one
it was an exceptionally close battle
but i think i have to vote for pem
just because it had a lil more imagery and i got into it just that lil more
big ups to both and nice battle

why..
even tho both verses were good verses quality wise.
like if this was an open mic id like each one..
but with a topic picture that big..and just of a
picture of that kinda shit.i just feel like u cant start
off about there bieng somone out there...at the end
of the light and all that, and jump to sumthin
about people in jail...tho i get ya verse in whole..
still...
and pem..
he came with...what was to be expected i guess..
the pic was kinda restrictive..i mean it was space..
or......space...but the verse still managed to be
interesting..atleast to me so i would have to vote
pem on this one...
it was a good battle tho..aint like any one verse sucked...

^ This part was cool and the scheme was hott
Everything you believed was impossible is true, exists
The evidence consists of more than just bear tracks or human prints
^ Perfect for this topic.
There was a purpose born when the Earth was born
^Favorite line out of both.
Im glad you both had two very different approaches, although it makes it slightly harder to compare them. I felt Half didnt come as nice as I would have expected. I enjoyed the verse but i felt there could have been more done with the topic, there wasnt really a twist or anything too out there that caught my attention. Pretty standard half material though, nice job. Pems verse had a cool feel to it, more my style i guess but also he pretty much painted that picture in my mind. His theme was tight, and there were a few original ideas that i really dug. All in all yall both came nice but Pems was quite a bit better in my eyes.
Vote-Pem
