Rep Power: 5 | I notice you tend to put alot of people in their place or make them think more about what they say. Is there any reason behind this?

Trying to recapture the original song's element, giving it my own twist and trying to make it ten times better pushes me.

I started writing rhymes in about '97, mostly garbage. I mostly listened to Wu, Master P, etc, whatever was hot at the time. Not until around '02 did I take it serious enough to actually think of spitting. I always rapped, but never wrote to beats, as we only did freestyle type shit on the street.
My inspiration to make music was always there, just the means were not available. Cheap ass fruity loops solved that. lol
Good questions.

All power needs checks and balances, which is what I try to do. I realize now that I was too stern with a lot of members, but at the time I thought it was necessary to keep the site organized and keep chaos to a minimum.

You working on your first solo project. What's it gonna sound like, will it be personal? Will it conform to the pop shit that's been put out recently? Will it sound dark or upbeat .. or both?
Who do you want to spend an hour in the lab with to give you directions? |

Who do you want to spend an hour in the lab with to give you directions? | Well, I'd have to do each and every emotion I deal with daily.
I'd probably start it off on a happier, upbeat vibe due to this is how life begins, as a happy youth. No cares, no worries. Then dip into the darker anger filled tracks, as this is how I see the teenage angst years, then finishing with the mourning and reflection mellow tracks. The life cycle in music.
It would all be personal, because whats the use of rapping if it doesn't reflect yourself? I'd make songs about murder and such, not because I do these things, but because those are the things my anger reflects. It's a way of expressing your emotional status. I could do a song about suicide, that doesn't mean I'll do that either, its just how my sadness would be portrayed.
The pop shit I can't deal with, so I'd stick to my style of beats and music. I'd basically never sign a big deal, ever. Independent route offers much more freedom, finacially and artistically.
As for the hour in the lab with someone, it'd probably be my boy Chris (Infernal, if you remember him), just because he has such a positive attitude to all this. He's the one that pushes me to make more beats for him, and really wants to do a full album. I can't think of a better person to have there.

Although neither really fit my beat style. Rah fits my style more on the RF side of things while Cormega would fit too.
