I say Legalize it, but then again.. Marijuana is a class 3 drug which is the same as coke and ect. so I doubt it will happen..

if it was like a class 2 or 1 were its legal in few states then i would say it has possibilitys of legalization.

Legalize it, the canadian government says that most of the money we spend on drugs like marijuana eventually lead back up to terrorist and criminal organizations... so, we legalize it, ALL money goes to the government and is taken away from those terrorists and criminals... hmm.. sounds smart to me..

in my city of calgary, $18 million has been confiscated in grow-operations this year alone, $54 milliion in the last 14 months... the calgary police say they are barely making a dent in the industry yet the city spends more and more of our tax money to increase police quantity to bust these grow-ops... dont they realize they are wasting their money? for every one they take down three more jump up.

they say maryjane is a gateway drug and it leads to the use of other "harder" drugs, how ever if it was legal who would take the risk to do other drugs if they werent already? think about it, you could smoke weed worry free with good weed constantly being grown by the government, or u could take risks of being arrested/killed by trying coke, esctacy, crack..

it is already legal for medicinal purposes in canada, people with shaky bones can legally smoke weed, obviously our government does not care very much.. in 2003 57% of weed related charges were due to trafficking (dealing) and only 43% was due to possession, now knowing that there are a lot more people possessing than dealing, and knowing that a lot more people get caught with possession and let off with nothing than dealing, it shows that their only real problem is people dealing the stuff.. so legalizing it, havnt it government grown and then sold privately, just like tabbacco and alcohol would make perfect sense...

Legalization would hold back the sell of It , If It's allowed alot of people don't see the thrill of It nomore.

Look at "Holland" , It's legal there and the coffeeshops actually selling the marijuana got a strict door policy wich means that people under the age of 18 can't buy any mairjuana and they aren't allowed to even enter a coffeeshop.

That's a good thing , America Is too radical for legalization of marijuana because they actually don't sell alochol unless you're 21 years of age or over. That's ridicilous , In most countries alcoholic substances are sold at the age of 16 or over. So It seems like they want to keep America a sober country with sober people , but the craziest of the crazy roam the sidewalk here daily and the reigners of the country have no cleu of what they're doing.

Legalization only has advantages for the users of It and the outsiders , a class - 3 drug Is nonsense. A cigarette compared to a blunt Is equal In health-damage , the policy In America Is just wrong. If marijuana and the use of It Is illegal then why can we still buy tobacco ? It both comes with cancer and marijuana has the advantage of bringing a good feeling unlike cigarettes who are just plain suicuide-sticks.

Alcohol Is much worse then consuming blunt-smoke , alcohol creates a nerve disorder that makes you do things you wouldn't ever do while bieng sober. So basicly alcohol plays with your sub-concious , and that's utterly dangerous.

Isn't It clear that marijuana Is a fragile subject to talk about ? people look with disgust If you name the word "marijuana" and nobody wants to talk about It.

But If you get the facts straight It's just clear that It doesn't do any harm unlike alcohol wich just plays with your mind causing death.

But It's probably just the American paranoia , they don't want to legalize It because It's "drugs" but tobacco Is drugs too and so Is alcohol.

This nation would be a whole lot better off WITH legalization.

all drugs should be legal this is prohibition all over.. let people do them.. the laws dont stop them.. then at least people do clean drugs as oxymoronic as that may sound and you tear the asshole out of organized crimes budget.. you notice the rise in violence and crime over alchohol back in the day and note the similarities today.. now next person give the patented drugs are wrong at least ones like coke and such and then accomplish very little except for making stoners happier

i smoke weed cuz it gets me high yo.. but i dont like high as much as i used to.. im more of a drinker now.. but i still like the occasional high goof session with my friends.. and weed is not a "black thing" at all.. its pretty much worldwide homie.. every race every country damn near.. id check back on that.. investigate the 60's some and forget the thought that absolutely everybody lives life based on the last 50 cent video

But cannabis Is not a black-people thing , emcees and commercial fools do Inhale blunt smoke In a video clip and talk about a blunt here and a blunt there but It's used worldwide.

People In "Holland" are mainly white and the treu core of cannabis-users and usage Is and are based there and they don't do It to blend Into a black-culture because there's not such a big amount of coloured-people with their own cultures and all of that.

People there should adjust themselves to society there , they are the ones who are expected to blend In (coloured people)

yeah i used to stay blunted like almost all the time i was awake,but i realized i spent to much money on the shit.I still do it every now and then but id rather drink personally,but i think it should be legal because in my opinion it does much of what alcohol does .

Weed is a huge part of the Jamacian culture... I believe they are partly responsable for the mass in population of smokin' weed... just like 50 cent has got all the lil kids hittin' the gym tryna be thug... fuckin' pussys... dont even know what they doin'... see... why are people so gullable? the media is known for settin' trends... weed smokin' is 75% peer pressure and 25% boredom ... all the rich white kids do it... I never smoked a cig in my life tho so as far as Im concerned weed with no tabaccoo in it is prefered ... but you can do what you like... I dont date girls that smoke and not smokin' weed and not giving in to peer pressure seems to have made me less popular in my community of "Hip-hop" all together... of cause they have weed all over the world... its a plant... however, people get the idea that Jamacia always got "that good shit" ... fair enough... sayin' it's "only part bof the black culture" is blunt (altho thats not what I ment) but it seems many took it that way... you kids! its to get at "Mummy" and "Daddy" right?
