Yall heard this? Very good CD. I haven't listened to the second disc all the way through, but the first disc, and half of second has been real tight so far.
Theres a song about rappers called "Crybaby" its fucking awesome. Just found it on youtube as i typed:
My favorite lines from crybaby, obviously probably, is:
"hating on the south, why? trippin off them chips they got,
you dont like that its screwed and chopped, but you wanna get off in they pot
wanna be MC and talk alot, up in the spot and you hot,
cause they 84's be pokin' out, what the hell is you cryin bout"
word.
But jeah, this CD is hot. Check it out if you haven't. Lemme know what yall think.
He tried to stretch it out too much. Theres like 2-3 joints I can skip on both albums and I've NEVER had to do that with a Tech N9ne CD cuz he's one of my favorite emcees. I think he took some risks in order to appeal to a wide audience but he's losing his core fans. Obviously the Killer pun on Thriller was supposed to be an omen for his biggest success, but I don't think in the least bit this was his dopest album. It's a good CD, I just finished both discs actually. I'm glad I purchased it fuh sho I always support the artists I like if they droppin dope shit, but he coulda made one of the greatest albums in hip hop, definitely a classic to say the least, if he woulda cut the redundant tracks on the album and made an 18 track solid CD like he usually does. He had it all (big name features, squad features, dope beats, good concepts) but I think he aint capitalize on all the buzz around em right now. He coulda made his best CD, but that still remains as Absolute Power IMHO.
