You have to start somewhere. The origin of hip hop was ALWAYS negative to the outsiders looking in....But it was so misdemeanor (sp).i.e vandalism....Now there's hip hop police and federal agencies that soley exist ...to watch artist. Whether your Talib Kwalib or Jay Z...doesnt matter...And unless you read every law when you enter each state...Its fairly easy to break a law and not know you have.......I drove from Texas to D.C. and had my little radar detector on.........Understand the stop lights in D.C. run very close together in some spots..like 5 feet apart...I ran a light because I proceeded from one turning green the next was at a yellow but like three feet from the one I just left....I thought I was good but got pulled over........Without debating the traffic violation the officer wedge himself between my drivers door and the back door on the driver side -hand on his weapon and ask me not to move. So of course I didnt.....Then he said "license registration and proof of insurance ....So im thinking Okay ..Tellin him every move that im makin ..Like "sir i have to go into the glove compartment to get these things" hes like okay....Long story short lol...He says I can lock you up for having this radar detector it is against the law here. I live 15 minutes away from there now..in V.A. and its not illegal.......It is that crazy..Not the law but how easy it iis to break the law. Not to mention how it felt being in this situation where the conversation could've shifted just by the way he was talking to me...very disrespectful.
