| Sharing Is Caring Basically for those who remember 'The Crate' created by doc chicken this is the exact same thing except for non rap related music... so take some and give some cuz remember sharing is caring!
TV On The Radio - Wolf Like Me
This song is off of there latest release 'Return to Cookie Mountain'. Not the best song off of the album but definitely one of catchier tunes on a very solid cd. http://www.sendspace.com/file/yz87n3
Funkadelic - Maggot Brain
If you don't like this song, i don't like you. just an unbelievable song, nothing else needs to be said but DOWNLOAD THIS SONG! http://www.sendspace.com/file/f6qej0
Wilco - Pot Kettle Black
A cool song off their album 'Yankee Hotel Foxtrot'. they have a pretty noticable country influence to them, which i personally like, but wilco keeps things pretty simple and focus on making good music. http://www.sendspace.com/file/8l4s4c
Scissor Sisters - I Don't Feel Like Dancing
Stop taking everything so seriously, relax and have a little bit of fun. that's all. http://www.sendspace.com/file/72ev5k
Seu Jorge - Carolina
Yes, it's in spanish. i'll upload more of his music later, i personally a have strong attraction for music from cuba, brazil and others such as those. anyway, seu jorge keeps his music nice and upbeat and very enjoyable to listen to. http://www.sendspace.com/file/w31vhr

Rep Power: 7 | Re: Sharing Is Caring Funkadelic are incredible and Eddie Hazel's guitar on that track is monu-fuckin'-mental. I'd upload some shit from Standing On The Verge if it wasn't on wax...
Liking the sound of Seu Jorge, please upload more til I get round to ordering my next batch of records. Thanks bro.
Freddie Hubbard - First Light SendSpace | The Best Free File Sharing Service:
Hubbard played trumpet on Herbie's 60's acoustic albums (Maiden Voyage etc). This is some easy shit mid 70's to get into and George Benson's guitar work is real nice on this track aswell.
Orlando 'Cachaito' Lopez - Tumbao No.5 SendSpace | The Best Free File Sharing Service:
Cachaito is most notorious for being the upright player on the Buena Vista Social Club album. This track is from his solo album and features Pee Wee Ellis on sax. Percussion, bass and sax. Fucking awesome song, simple as. Great atmosphere for late night listening.
Frank Zappa and the Mothers of Invention - Inca Roads SendSpace | The Best Free File Sharing Service:
Classic tune with a nice little guitar solo followed by an incredible solo on keys by George Duke. Outstanding songwriting, a band as tight as an orchestra and a good humoured, fun vibe...what more do you people want??!?!
Great thread, I'll be contributing heaps more in the coming weeks.

This is just a beautiful instrumental piece of music from some ECM heavyweights. For those who don't know, ECM is pretty much the premier European jazz label and has been since the early 70's. I was lucky enough to attend a workshop with Bobo Stenson and Anders Jormin recently (the pianist and bassist on this track) and I was truly inspired by the level of intensity and passion they focus into each sound they create. Marvin Gaye - Inner City Blues (Make Me Wanna Holler) SendSpace | The Best Free File Sharing Service
If you don't own the What's Going On? album already, I suggest you obtain this album by any means necessary asap. The music on this disc is as incredible, touching and relevant as it was 35 years ago, particularly in our current climate. The track I've upped is the closer on the album and is one of those pieces of music that just touches me every time I hear it. Ebjorn Svensson Trio - Do The Jangle SendSpace | The Best Free File Sharing Service
Nearly all the jazz stuff I've been really heavy into atm is from the European (especially Scandinavian) scene. EST is an acoustic piano trio which sorta fuses jazz, funk, pop and classical sensibilities into one. This track's pretty straight forward funkified. The energy gets me every time, plus I'm a fiend for them heavy double bass lines.
p.s Av, I caught Billy Cobham with ASERE (cuban collective) recently and managed to attend the workshop he gave at college. Saw him walking randomly in college afterwards and managed to grab a photo and a quick chat with the living legend. I'm still buzzing about it. The gig was nuts too, if they get out to Cali I'd strongly recommend you get out to see em.
