This is a track from their Hope For A Generation EP and it's a beautiful example of how good these guys are. Think dub reggae mixed with deep soul and a little hip hop, with slow build ups and euphoric highs. If you don't have their album 'Based On A True Story' you need it.

These guys are rediculously good. I'm fortunate enough to be seeing them in Holland this summer, can't wait. Think bass riff driven jazz with a hard funk flavour.

Taken from the album Juju. Features McCoy Tyner and Elvin Jones (from the great Coltrane quartet), and it's noticable. Shorter's compositions still shine through, would recommend the album Juju and Speak No Evil to everyone as a first intro to Shorter. Did I mention I'm fortunate enough to be seeing the McCoy Tyner Trio too? Ok I'll stop.
Anyone want any albums or whatever, just ask. Watch out for a jazz mix fresh out the crates too.

Impossible Germany... it's a very good song from this album. if you know much about wilco at all it kind of shows some of the progression they've made along the past decade plus of making music. Send big files the easy way. Files too large for email attachments? No problem!

black keys - psychotic girl
