Movie is wack as hell...
there are some dope parts...
but shit is soooo stupid.
me n my girl were laughing the whollle time, it was rediculous.
the main characters acting is so rediculous, the main character is like a robot. Ive seen bad acting hurt a movie... but this just ruins it... its so stupid... i cant really get that point across quite strong enuff.
It has so many trite elements to it
hes got this bomb ass wife then goes to cheat on her and is like 'no i cant do this' wack type shit like that to make sure u like the character but it doesnt work cuz i wanted his zombie will farrel ass to catch a stray throughout the entire plot.
and hes just unnecesarily resourceful... its like tom clancy lead character. A Doctor, Smart, resourceful, loves his family despite generic problems etc.etc.
Now first of all... the entire plot is ridiculous, this shit is retarded... nobodies gonna be able to set this shit up. Hes got these torture chambers n shit setup all throughtout the city at all 1 milliona abandoned buldings that no1 sees n the police are so clueless shits rediculous. so ur thinkin its one of those movies like Congo... where its just retarded but still pretty dope, but no... this is just retarded while sucking.
Then they have this theme about him being the "jigsaw" murderer... n then u never hear about that after half way through the movie.. just an abandoned ass theme.
im not gonna say i never jumped... cuz ya... u know they put u in the dark room n set the atmosphere... somethin jumps out at you n u jump... that doesnt make a scary movie... thats just a cheap scream.
So like... this character is like... warrior of the year wit blades on his wrist draped in a cloak... retarded.
there was one dope part imma give em credit for.
he some how captures this guy who he saw slicing his wrist... n puts him in this room... and he gets a tape recorded n listens to the tape... n it says somethin like... well did u cut urself cuz u wanted to die or becuz u wanted attention? well ironically if u really wanted to die... all u have to do is stay still, however if u want to live ur gonna have to get cut a whole lot.
n in the room its all barbwired n theres a door at the top thats gonna close in like... 3 hours or some shit n hes tryin to crawl through all this barbwire...

but then they try to make this twist... n if u think about it ... the twist contradicts the entire motive of "Saw" ... id go into more detail but i dont wanna ruin this movie for you... becuz the plot will do that for me.
Shit was super wack, but a bunch of u r dumbasses n will go..

the entire last 1/2 hour of the movie... is soo trite and so overacted ... teh entire audience was laughing...

yea there was pretty much no point in him cutting off his leg....all he had to do was use the shirt he tied around his ankle....and how did the phone get that far from him in the 1st place? he was just using it...wtf?
and then the killer is the "dead guy" laying in the middle of the floor...how in the hell do u lay in one spot for that long and not breathe? and he had to move to press the button on the lil shocker thingy. but where did that remote come from?...
one of my fav parts is when the cops partner got killed. that was so brilliantly set up...but so predictable...besides how did he survive a shotgun blast to the back?
i agree this movie was ass

regaurdless of how bad this movie was I was still glad to have seen it...its entertainment value was very high. but it was very low in terms of artistic quality

film is heavy and that ending was fuckin' dope as fuck... genius... very complex too... I douybt you fully comprehended it... but erm... if someone had your fucking wife and kid hostage you'd bug out too... he cut off his leg coz in his eyes it was either that or die... coz his time was up... so he cuts off his leg not knowing his family are safe.. I agree with both sides. the film was ass but very complex. the ending was dope but upon deeper analysis of it it doesn't make sense. certain events would not have occured in real life. the movie was too fantastic for belief. but it was still clever how he pulled it off. | |

the acting was horrible, plot was awsome and all the torture scenarios were cool as fuck... just the fucking acting.. soo soo bad.. i saw better actors in my high school drama classes, you can not say the plot wasnt mad original though, and they pulled it off crazy.. the way all the characters fit together and how they told the story through flashbacks and shit.. it was good.. i think you were just expecting too much out of a movie stoic.. like honestly when was the last time you went to a theatre and was actually "wow'd" from a movie??
hollywood is hollywood u cant change that, just have to take this movie for what it is, an original murder mystery with a moral... i liked it | |
