No surprise. I saw this coming since the end of the last fight, as did many. I thought maaaybe, by some magical fantastic chance, he would pull it off. But no. And it was even worse than the first fight because he got his ass handed to him for two rounds, instead of one. Dude got stomped. I guess black Brazilians are his kryptonite. Guess I gotta go into a 3 day depressive slump.

Well UFC just signed Chonan, who beat Silva in PRIDE with a sick ass flying heel hook so there's hope. lol.. well not really. Silva's gonna go on a tear in that division..! There's talk of Matt Hughes possibly moving up in weight to fight Silva sometime in 08.. that would be interesting. Still think Silva would win.. but It'd be interesting to watch imo.

Rich Franklin is just over-rated man.. his biggest wins were against Evan Tanner (x2) David Loiseau and an old, over-the-hill Ken Shamrock. Not impressive by any stretch of the imagination. The best guys he's ever fought, also happen to be the guys he's lost too..! Ryoto Machida (T)KO loss and Silva destroyed him twice.. AND destroyed Rich's NOSE.. TWICE..! 2 fights : 2 Broken Noses..! Both by knees in the clinch. Both (T)KO's.

What's left for Rich now.!? If you can't beat the guy on top.. there's really no reason to continue. Plus the Docs told Rich last fight, after he had surgery on his nose, that he could face long term, irreversible damage if it broke again. And it did. Not good. Yet he maintains he's not retiring.. good luck with all that. smh...

I doubt Wanderlai would do much.. he got outstruck by a wrestler in his last bout, and KTFO. I don't think Dan Henderson is anywhere near Anderson Silva when it comes to striking.. so if that match up ever happened (which is unlikely) I think A.S. would definitely outstrike the Axe Murderer. Matt Hughes: same thing. I think the only people who have a shot at dethroning Anderson are WEC Middleweight champ Paulo Filho.. and Dan Henderson if he drops down to 185 (which he said he DOES NOT want to do that). That would be a unification bout for the PRIDE and UFC Middleweight championship.. I'd pay for that..!
