On MY Mind--Lynching of Blacks from Police Officers Evil Guns: {R.I.P. Sean Bell}

Modern society is very much infested with Jim Crow laws of the cotton picking South. In this modern world, no respect is forth coming for the Blackman. Four hundred years of slavery wasn’t enough it seems. It’s a sensitive situation for the Blackman, living in the Americas, and other parts of the western hemisphere. The children of the Ku Klux, Klan, and the so-called police officers are still lynching us, not with ropes by any means, but with their guns and ammunitions. These occurrences happen so often, makes you wonder if they’ve been given specific instructions, from other sources. The positive Blackman, the ones having a purpose, are seen more as a threat to society, the ones without any sport affiliation, they’re more of a target, not being controlled by the system. The negative brothers, those with the badges, are allowed to carry on their evil ways, for sooner or later it will catch up to them, so there’s no urgency. Everyone remembers the Sean Bell incident, fifty gun shots fired by laws enforcement agents, at three unarmed black citizens. What can ever justify such brazen behavior? In no way in hell would this have happened to three whit men. The young man that got killed, was getting married the very next day, all plans that he and his family had hoped for are now destroyed. The police dept. is now prying into their past records, making them available for the public, incriminate them they must. What it has to do with firing fifty shots, at three unarmed men, killing one, I really can’t say! I do not see the relevancy. These cops messed up so badly, their dept. is coming up with all types of stories. One such story was that there was a forth person in the vehicle with the others. That’s being denied by the two young men, who escaped alive. The police dept. claims that the forth person that ran from the vehicle could be the one that had the gun they thought fired at them. Detectives with warrants are visiting the complex of the young men that got killed, harassing the citizens, with unnecessary questions, and what’s the word in the streets; as if they’re expecting retaliation. In the space of ten seconds, fifty bullets were fired; five cops involved, thirty-one of the shots were fired by one detective. Fifty bullets of three un-armed men; minority as we’re called. A Blackman life has no value in this modern society. We’re still being lynched as in the past, with bullets from law enforcement officer’s guns.I truly believe that if this incident was one that involved all black officers, and a white man got killed, all hell would have broke loose! They would be coming with ropes for their necks, but again black lives are not important in this Jim Crow Society, so no changes are necessary. Courtesy, Professionalism, and Respect is the motto of the police dept., none of these three has any significance when it comes to Black citizens. As a matter of fact it's the opposite of the three, but what a day when the table turns!! Higher standards are urgently needed in this institution of our nation, there's tension brewing, for its only one race of people that are being killed by police officers, and on top of it, they're hetting away scot free. It's getting to the point where the frustration boils over and alot more blood will be spilt on the streets, police officers icluded, so get it right, once and for all!!!!

This may seem as old news to people, but if you think about it this will never be old news to the black community. I would just like to kno everyone's opinion on this issue...Was this a race issue? Was this a situation where the police officers were scared for there life in this situation..so there's no other option but to shoot fifty times? Please Someone Enlighten Me!!

Why does everything have you be about race? And how can you drag down police in general because of the actions of a few? I vaguely know this story, and from what I've heard [which isnt that much] it seems the police were out of line. That does not reflect on any sort of 'repressive society' nor does it make all police bad and racist. From what I did hear, there where more black and Hispanic cops there then white cops. If thats true, the 'was is racist' question is a non-issue. But im sooo sick of everyone degrading all police officers due to the actions of a corrupt few. There are bad people in this world, and they get into every line of work. So naturally there are some bad people in law enforcement. But the overwhelming majority of police officer are not corrupt racists. They just aren't.

I today's society everything is all about race, especially wen it involves whites or blacks!!! And first of all who says that im dragging down all cops ...im talkin about these cops in general..FYI.And for the most part whoevr told you told you wrong there were more white cops that black cops. And shit like this is definetly race, because who got shot at 50 times yeah 3 unarmed black guys they did nothing wrong. Not saying all cops are corrupt and racists but come on.. I mean u were right you don't kno much about the story because the cops were also in the bar whil the other 3 were celebrating. As fas as kno i think that every knos that those cops were jus sittin in there doin nothin, they were intoxicated as well as Sean Bell was. Sean Bell had the right to drink or be intoxicated because it was his bachelor party, but cop are not suppose to dring while on duty, but yet Sean Bell was seen as the bad guy because he was drunk..but wat about the cops why wasn't whether or not they were intoxicated wan't disclosed to the public--I'll tell u why because the police dept. doesn't want to look bad so thae hide that most important info. Because i believe those cops were intoxicated(race or not), and this could have very well affected their mental stabability. I rest ma case!!!!

there's an unwritten rule that if your partner's dirty, you don't snitch... just ask for a new partner.

if it was mostly good cops and a few bad pigs, such a secret code wouldnt be necessary...

and yeah this summer nigga's gettin killed... i dont feel like linkin shit but the past few months chicago cops just been wildin out... this one drunk cop beat this bartender's ass cuz she wouldnt serve him anymore... this one cop broke a kids jaw cuz the kid argued with his son... this other cop handcuffed a 10 year old face down in the dirt and threw him in the squad car, cuz the kid had a disagreement with his son... a whole gang of shit.

That´s exactly right! I got a buddy who´s from philly,
he´s a black muslim brother of mine.
And he used to be a cop, but he quit. He just couldn´t take all the bullshit, harrasment of innocent people, and dirty cops.

And he told me: Ain´t no tellin on another cop no matter how foul a cop might be, if you´re a cop and report another cop for being brutal, outta line or
for breakin the law etc,
(yeah them crooked ass cops break the law ALL the time, they ain´t upholding it!), then you most likely won´t even get any back up next time you in a tight
situation,
and they could literally just sit there eatin donuts and drinkin coffe kickin the phucc back, while another cop is gettin killed, just cuz he reported one o´ they buddies.

And that ain´t no bs either, this really IS how shit go down among cops.

I understand what you are saying I am a white male from South Africa and our country has been in democracy for 12 years knowbut has not changed that much at all you still get agressive cops and most of them are black and they do get bad on their own people it has got nothing to do with race its got more to do with power and when a cop thinks your a criminal you are and there is nothing that is going to change his mind set, the things you see is the things the press wants you to see. You want to tell me that you have never seen a black cop beat up another black man...... if so then its is very strange.....
