I was about to rant about how lucky i am to live in a country where he isn't one of the candidates and etc w/e

^That is what your trying to make him. A viable candidate, something that he is not.

He gave a couple of good speeches. Hes black and a democrat.

What else about him do you like? What specific policy plans, or economic plans for the future of his do you like? or is it just because you want 'change' and you 'like' Barack Obama?

First of all i dont want health care to be Mandatory..
Definitly when its not affordable..

Now Obama wants to make it affordable so we wanna get it..
Not make you buy even tho its taking 40 % of your income..

Im havin a hard time living now..I cant imagine if they
start taking almost half of my income..

Thats just one reason i want obama to win..

They are both socialists. If you DON'T want the government to steal your money, democrat is not the way to vote.

On the other hand, if you enjoy the majority of your hard-earned income being stolen by the criminals in our government, and then directly redistributed to people who do not deserve it, then yeah, vote democrat.

Lets be honest. Voting either way will achieve both of these things. The neo-cons who now own the republican party are just as quick to spend tax money on ridiculous things as democrats. The only difference is some of the democrats ideas on spending would actually benefit our country directly instead of being sent to other countries. I'll take a socialist state at this point over what the neo-cons want to implement, which is just as socialist (their policies are obviously pro-welfare state) but far more authoritative and imperialistic.

word.. you will see when we do finally start pulling out of iraq and afghanistan.. with the investments we've made in africa.. our economy will boom again assuming we arent in iran yet

Yeah i really cant blame bush like was already said..
After 9/11 it was his job to step up an say...you know this is unexceptable..
And the proper actions are bein takin..then once that was done..

Every one wanted us to pull out of iraq because alot of american troops deceased.
But if he wouldve pulled out..all the troops that died..woulda died for nothin..
So as our president its his job to finish what he started..
To avoid showing weakness to all other countrys...just my opinion..

we need to get out just strategically.. bush has not done a great job president and sadly some one has to come into office and kind of clean up but like i said he was in a sticky situation and america voted him in for the second four, so really people knock bush because they were stupid enough to vote for him twice

Gas prices are going to be high no matter what. There's too much of an inelastic demand for gas, giving the government high revenue from taxation on it. It's not the gas itself that costs so much.

Also i haven't followed any of the candidates policies at all. Obama is pro 'free-healthcare'? Not a bad thing. Works over here.

that's there.. the army has the free-healthcare layout.. and its terrible.. they will not believe you are sick till you are dying in their arms.. its not a good idea
