Not really back, BUT!

I'm only returning because I remember some V for Vendetta kids with clips or pictures in their avatars, and it took me a second viewing to realize -

V for Vendetta is in the running for worst movie ever.

There were like fifteen points at which I laughed out loud at the way they tried to sell the empty, meaningless, trite, generic "anti-establishment" rhetoric. All the bullshit "revolution" sloganeering must give these trust-fund pussies a reason to live or something.

"V" is a flaming faggot Frenchman who would probably wear the same piece of shit mustache if he had a face. He delivers some of the most hilariously retarded lines in the history of film, all with a ridiculous straight-faced conviction.

What is the message behind this movie again? REVOLT against the evil empire that outlaws books and candy! As of this moment in time I have less than zero respect for anyone who thinks this movie is good.

I thought it was a cool movie but I see where you're coming from.. it is kinda preechy and corny at times. But c'mon.. it's a comic book/popcorn movie. It's not winning any Oscars.. like most Super Hero/comic book/popcorn movies. I mean ID4 is extremly stupid as well but it was entertaining for what it is. You can't really expect too much from movies like that. It's simply: entertaining or NOT entertaining.
