The Bosses Concoction Interview with Beyond

Noggah: **gets into interviewer mode**
Noggah: **clicks record**
Noggah: State your name for the record
Beyond: Beyond.
Noggah: lol
Noggah: So Beyond, i think something most people are curious about, is how long did it take you to reach "God Status" in text?
Beyond: Few years I guess.
Noggah: and what a steady climb it was I bet, after honing your skills and sharpening your blade, how does it feel to be on top in so many places?
Beyond: Alright.
Noggah: just alright?? if you were a cannibal you would begin to starve soon with no more meat to eat... you have to have some satisfaction with what youve done... what are some of the biggest names youve taken down?
Noggah: and which one felt the best
Beyond: Umm, I'm not sure how big they would be considered on RF, but a few names would be Malphunxion, Damien, NyVillan, Haste, Kaos, !3th @p0$TLe, MaCe, and Po*TenSe. Umm, the best would probably be Damien because we had a lot of beef. An honorable mention would be JRite because he was the first net-wide name I beat.
Noggah: just a few of the casualties along the way... I recognize a couple of the names, no easy task... I see you as a up and coming hitman on his way to the top, a couple years of experience, names under his belt... Whats next in store for this top assassin??
Beyond: Longevity.
Noggah: Indeed one would hope so, with so many others gunning for you... so aside from ripping bastids to pieces with words, what else does the Great Beyond enjoy doing in his spare time??
Beyond: Your mom.
Noggah: Ouch a low blow from someone who has spent virtually no time on his knees.... Which brings us to our next topic of discussion... we've talked about your glory days, but what defeat really pissed you off and made you vow to never lose again??
Beyond: It's impossible to never lose.
Noggah: indeed, but it is not impossible to vow
Beyond: I don't think I ever have.
Beyond: lol
Noggah: after talking about your battles, we must talk about the grounds they take place on, what have been some of your favorite rapboards to grace??
Beyond: Raptism, Hip Hop Emcees, Urban Flows, It's Hip Hop, Rap Flava, Lyric Kings.
Noggah: and what do you feel draws you to these different places?
Noggah: it couldnt be the porno section, you have no posts there...
Beyond: lol
Beyond: Someone advertises the link to me and I join. lol. Pretty much it. Maybe I also read some of the verses and like what I see.
Noggah: Ah, I was about to say, people advertise sites to me all the time, I just give them a jovial fuck off... maybe i should look into those next time
Beyond: lol
Noggah: well, you have certainly provin yourself, and in time things usually only get better... what are some words you have for those hoping to gain your status???
Beyond: Elevate.
Noggah: lol, i dont think they build them for that many stories... maybe take the stairway to heaven... because thats one of the two places you'll end up if you try to take on Beyond
Noggah: I'd like to thank you for taking the time out Beyond, and goodluck in ure future of texting
Beyond: Thanks.
Noggah: **hits stop button**

There you have it folks, a man of very few words… probably because he saves them for his battles…

Spiciest Entre (Verse of the Week)

This was a close call for verse of the week, between Hell Razor and LCK… HR had a couple of good punches, but I think LCK had an overall more consistent verse… to check it out, just look above…

This Week’s Recipe’s (Battle Breakdowns)

((Noggah)) vs. LCK

Even though I was a participant in this battle, it seemed to be the most enjoyable from all the votes I saw in the league, that’s why I decided it should be the Battle of the Week, in place of Beyond vs. HWI which would have otherwise probably got the nomination… Numerous people felt I wrote a fresh original verse content wise, while LCK has really been improving these last weeks, and despite no votes for him, really gave me a run for my money… This battle seemed to get the most votes in the league until Xylo vs. Wun came in with a few more… it was refreshing to see all the votes though… Noggah won 6-0

</td> </tr> </tbody></table>

Itachi vs. ((Warrent 4 Arrest))

In my opinion, this was a pretty mediocre battle, with simplistic themes and no real blood thirstiness… Both have a long way to go, and really need to get that gleam in their eyes if they intend to up their skill level… it was pretty evenly matched, only really 1 stand out line from each, but they still did better than half the league, proving their dedication to improvement by showing, something many fail to do… In the end W4A would get the victory 3-0…

I think Pembroke explained it best:

Quote:
<table border="0" cellpadding="6" cellspacing="0" width="100%"> <tbody><tr> <td class="alt2" style="border: 1px inset ;"> Originally Posted by Pembroke

Warrent - The celebrity rap line was the best of the battle. You had at least 3 played punchlines but what you did have that was original was enough for the win.

v/ Warrent

The more experienced battler.. keep battling.

Stay up.

</td> </tr> </tbody></table>

((Don Dotta)) vs. Tirant

a battle between 2 people who drop solid rhymes… Dam gave them the topic: “It was that one, wasn’t it?”, but it seemed to be lost in translation as Don wrote on the topic “It was then, wasn’t it?”. Despite this misunderstanding he dropped a solid verse, while Tirant did his thing with the original one provided… both showed a talent for topical writing as imagery and storytelling were at least average if not above, with good flow and solid drops by each… I was pleasantly surprised to see how well both handled the topical designated by Plot… in the end Don got the W with a 5-0 vote count…

Xylo had this good take on the battle:

Quote:
<table border="0" cellpadding="6" cellspacing="0" width="100%"> <tbody><tr> <td class="alt2" style="border: 1px inset ;"> Originally Posted by Xylo

What you lacked in vocab you provided with suspense and your ending which was crazy.

Tirant your piece was very nice flow wise but to me it was missing a little emotion
over all it was a very nice read.

after stepping away and reading both again i give this one to Don Dotta

good work to both guys.

</td> </tr> </tbody></table>

Jay-Rede vs. ((HellRazor))

This was like an Itachi Vs. Warrant 4 Arrest after both have reached that next plateau in writing well on their way to reaching the next… Jay seemed to have a rushed verse in this one, coming with punches but unfortunately only jabs… Hell seemed to have that battle intensity necessary to really rip people apart, though it was toned down a little in this match… both came good with punches, pretty original material, and were the embodiment of a true battle… Hellrazor got the knock out 3-0…

7th Crescent’s take on this battle:

Quote:
<table border="0" cellpadding="6" cellspacing="0" width="100%"> <tbody><tr> <td class="alt2" style="border: 1px inset ;"> Originally Posted by 7th Crescent

</td> </tr> </tbody></table>

Xylo vs. ((Wun))

This seemed to be the battle with the most beef that ive seen in awhile here on RF… Both felt cheated and both felt they had the better material… the votes seemed to side with both of them, being a very close battle, 4-3 in the vote count, ultimately giving Wun the win… Dam’s topic: “At the end of the tunnel” was interpreted properly by both, but more people seemed to think that Wun had a better structure and a more concise verse…

This Week’s Flava Enhancer:

Itachi – it seemed like this dude was in every battle voting, except his own… In fact he was!!! We need more members in the league like this… voting is usually a problem, and its good to see someone active enough to leave feed and votes on everything dropped…he has struggled in the past with no shows, but he showed how valuable he could be… Winning this net’s Itachi $50 k in RF dollars…

Spoiled Food

Again the league was plagued with no shows, but more people showed in its refreshing come back after a one or 2 week absence than has been normal for the league of old…good news is there seemed to be plenty of votes this week, so keep that up!!!

some of the people that had the refrigerator smelling:

Half Wit It (0-1) – something must be up with him, usually hes the first verse in, hope all is well HWI…
Mr. Fuh Q Up (0-1) – he seems to have been really busy for a long time now, if shit clears up im sure he’ll be back….
Wisdom (0-1) – I don’t know him, and neither do you, unless you hang out with no showin bastids…
LME (0-1) – I don’t know him, and neither do you, unless you hang out with no showin bastids…
Plump-Bags (0-1) – I don’t know him, and neither do you, unless you hang out with no showin bastids…
SilenceDeath (0-1) – I think he had net problems or was real busy, cause he was MIA for mafia for the first couple of days, show next time!!!

Upcoming Menu (Predictions for next week)

This week seems to hold a lot of really good matchups that should make for really entertaining battles…

Beyond vs. Noggah –Topical

This should prove to be a great battle, and great challenge for me as it usually is, I have yet to defeat Beyond, hopefully Topicals will be his weakness…

Warrent vs. Chillmus -Open Mic

I think this could be a good battle, but in the end I think Chillmus will probably get the win unless Warrant can really come through with some nice wordplay… seems rather evenly matched to an extent…

Don Dotta vs. Don Mega –Punches

The battle of the Don’s!!!! who will remain the head of the family and whose family will crumble?? I haven’t seen Don Mega, but Dotta can really bring the pain when hes on top of his game, I think he will get this one…

HellRazor vs. 7th Cresent –Topical

Seems like a really great battle and has real good potential to be the battle of the week if both really bring what they are capable of… ive enjoyed pretty much everything ive seen from both of these writers.. so be on the lookout for this one people!!!

Pembroke vs. Jay-Rede -Open Mic

This should be another good battle… Jay can do his thing when he wants to, but I’m expecting Pem to come with that unique magic he always show and take this battle…

LCK vs. Tirant –Punches

Looking forward to this one as well, LCK has really been upping his game, and if he continues with that, he’ll really give Tirant a hard time… both are pretty skilled and are mad at losing last week… hopefully they will focus all that aggression into making this an awesome battle…

Xylo vs. Itachi –Topical

Looks like xylo got stuck with another topical.. his last one was pretty decent, Itachi might have the upperhand here because he’s real good with imagery just uses it in the wrong type of battle… could go either way I think…

be on the lookout for next weeks mag!!!!

one thing cool would be to have a quick interview of the contestants which would include predictions strategy and competitor strengths or weakness comments.

that would be a cool read possibly.

Agreed.

This was genius.. I was actually thinking of writing a quick magazine on Tuesday night to show my appreciation for the RFBL still being up in spite of the no show plague.

Great job, my man. Repped & gifted.

Let me know what's good with a guest chef spot this week.. I'm down to cook up somethin'
