I'd have to disagree. While the Wii is getting much deserved attention in the gaming world, you'd be suprised how many 'average-joes' their are that don't realize the true potential of what the system has to offer or even heard of it at all.

In my opinion, the Wii is getting totally slept on. It truly does have the potential to revolutionize the way games are played.

Oh, and the fact that Nintendo is releasing the "Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess" on the same day it drops...you'd seriously have to be an idiot to not get yourself a Wii.

^ the 'gay lightswitch flip' is actually motion sensitive. the harder you flick, the harder your qb will fling it.

gay or not...try doing that with an xbox 360 or ps3. ;)

Ps3 control is motion sensitive as well, not to the extreme as Wii, but motion sensitive nonetheless. And yes it is a fucking gay lightswitch flip.

^ Indeed it is. I was actually quite impressed when I first saw the E3 video of Sony announcing it.

Still, the motion sensitivity the PS3 controller has to offer is only a fraction (like...a demo version of a program for lack of a better example) of what the Wii will offer. 6 degrees of motion sensitivity vs the full 360 degrees the Wii offers?? Caaaamon. Add the fact that the PS3 controller is missing a rumble option

we'll take a look at one last thing - possibly the most controversial aspect of the PS3: the controller. Prepare to be shocked though: we don't really like it all that much. True enough, you can go along with Phil Harrison's proclamation that it's already the industry-standard controller amongst umpteen-million gamers around the globe, but, arguably, that doesn't make it the best. Personally, we can't help but feel that the SIXAXIS (as it's now known) has been sadly neglected when viewed alongside the rest of the PS3. Look, I know I sound like I'm on Nintendo's jock but, I guess its the inner nintendo fanboy in me speakin. I grew up on Nintendo man. Don't get me wrong, the ps2 is, in my opinion the greatest overall system of all time and Microsoft's Halo franchise is probably the game(s) that I've invested the most time in (next to starcraft) but, in a nerdish way it kinda hurt me to see the gamecube's little success. I'm an old school head who would take unique gameplay over mind-blowing graphics any day (Zelda anyone?) The Wii looks to me like Nintendo's opportunity to finally redeem itself on why it started the generation-defining video game revolution in the first place.

Nah see you got me wrong. When I say, "Maddens gay", I mean "Maddens gay" Somehow, perhaps your monitor translated that into the Wii sucks wiiwii. Nah, I think the wii is crazy and I've decided months ago I would purchase it before I get the ps3 - even if the games were gay and childish, because that system is something that needs to be experienced. IT's crazy. Now , that said, no need to go to a Round 3. For the record - I think it's a good system, otay?
