Wow. I'm totally gonna geek out BIG TIME on this one. I might have to take that whole week off (it is Turkey Day that week, so I'll only have to take off 3 days, that means I can get a full 8 days of gaming in, never sleep, never shower, never eat, nothing...just game. Sounds like BLISS to me).

its ok... the games will be garbage at first... the only good game being released for this is call of duty 3...

thats why im getting ps3... metal gear solid 4...resident evil 5... call of duty 3..and grand theft auto 4...

Those games suck...wow especially the golf one. i know nintendo specialises in Mario games but that kind of graphics are getting old now. how long will they keep coming out with systems with new games which has that italian plumber i found out about at the age of 5.

I'm ten times more interested in Wii than PS3.

At less than half the price of PS3, its a simple choice for someone who prefers gameplay over graphics. At very most it'll be $250, thats with all addons included, while the very cheapest PS3 will be released at $499. The controller could be the greatest innovation in consoles since the gamepad over the joystick. Red Steel looks awesome.

Nintendo isn't aiming to battle with MS and Sony this round, so you can't really compare the Wii to the other consoles. Nintendo made the mistake with the Gamecube to attempt to get into a graphics war with the other two. Thats not Nintendo, they've always stressed fun and gameplay, which is where they're focusing with the Wii.

sony has already lost incredible amount of money by continually pushing back the release date. And when its released its gonna be more expensive than the 360 when it first came out. why would you want an expensive as fuck ps3 when you could get a cheaper 360, or an extremely cheap Wii?

The controller idea is kewl, but looks like you may need lots of space for playing it.

To put it in perspective. You can buy the Xbox 360 Premium AND the Wii for $50 more than the 60 GB PS3. Thats before the obvious price cuts the Xbox 360 will undergo once PS3 nears launch.

Just so you know, the shared RAM doesn't mean much for the graphics other than how many, and how hi-res, textures it can push. The GPU is far more important for pushing the actual geometry and shaders, this is where Nintendo gets pummeled by the other two consoles. Wii will only be marginally better than the Gamecube in graphics, but like I said, they're not trying to win the graphics war.
