With songs like "Fuck The Police" NWA really made a statement , I was on www.myspace.com/nwa and I heard they came out with a new greatest hits . Its things like this that keep hip hop alive.

Hip hop is not dead in my opinion. It has just changed. I think the group NWA is a classic group, good stuff.

^^Firstly, of course NWA are pioneers of the whole West-Coast movement and will always have a place in rap history. But what the hell are you guys talking about? You sound like some bitch-ass Southern cats getting mad at Nas, taking his words straight at the surface level. If you listened to the album, or pay attention to any actual content him saying 'Hip Hop is Dead' is more of a warning to where hip hop is going....

why mufuckas actin like nas was the first person to say hip hop is dead? that statment has been on the table since 99, i remember when Thing Fall Apart came out ?uestlove saying to him the shit died in 93'. everybody got a different take on it....im just surprised nas got so many of ya'll mad for saying it.
