If you're one of those "I'm supposed to read all that?" posters, skip to your next ADD thread about your text belts. I'm only typing this up because I see a slippery slope, I'm looking out for someone I've known for along time and I once had a lot of love for this site. I'm half asleep from work, so ignore grammatical errors, etc.

Firstly, this controversy with Sever is bullshit. Chris, remember when I had a ban, or "limited access" a few years ago? I haven't always been respectful, but you know I had good intentions at heart. Dub did specific diss tracks to you, with me AND rah on them. Yet its us three rounding out the Hall of Fame. We were allowed back to pay our dues to the community. Sever isn't given that chance.

Chris, you gave two reasons for IP banning Sever. First was his quote to Avarice (about the site), which I find humorous, because he's right. Take a clear, objective look around the site. Don't look at it as your site for once, look at it as a random site. Look at the nonsense thats rampant everyday, and allowed to flourish. Chris, how long have I been a mod or supermod? Over three years without asking anything from you, ever. Why do you think people like me and Kaze decide to leave (me leaving supermod status and under an all too obvious alias) after being here for so long? The other quote is something people have directed at me for years, but when I ban them for a month I'm going overboard, right?

I'm brutally honest and will call out my closest of friends on shit if they're out of line, at least they can respect what I say as they know I'm being honest. I do the same on here and I couldn't give a fuck if your name is written in white, green, red, pink or yellow. You pitch in money for RF? Fine, don't expect to get special treatment because of it. You do it either out of love for the site, or you do it for selfish reasons and I'll respect you less because of it and will go out of my way to diss you. I don't care if you're a mod, supermod or admin or jesus himself. If those quotes of Sever's were to any other member, it wouldn't even cause a blink.

Say what you say about wether Sever brings anything to RF, but the members have already voted that one for you. Are you making the site for you, or the community? If its the latter, then they've already spoken on this issue.

As I said before, I've been supermod for over three years for you and never asked a thing. I'm changing that now. I'm asking you to give Sever MY Hall of Fame spot. If personal feelings can deny a persons induction, then the Hall itself is tainted, and I'd rather not be in it. Honestly.

Chris, I say this because we've known each other for a long, long time and we're boys. I say this out of respect for you and hope for a better RF to take shape in the future. Take the constructive criticism, or ignore it. Your call.

Word... Sever can be a lil on the hyper/hyped up side, but his intentions are always good. He wants nothing but the best from RF. I understand where he's at too cuz I got banned a while back for arguing wit Chris, took a 2 year break from RF but came back. Ultimately it is his site, so he lays down the law. I was young and immature and prolly stepped over the line a lil bit with what I was spewing out my mouth because if it wasn't for Chris there would be no RF.

Sever is a koo kid, but I think Chris has the final say n if he feels like Joe stepped out of boundaries then aye.. that wasn't Chris' fault. Guess I'm neutral on the matter ;\

Even though it all boils down to what Chris thinks...i still say, if Sever won Hall of Fame from the site itself's votes and the site believe Sever won HoF this year...then they must believe Sever contributed to the site more than others.

Yeh, Opt been dissin Chris...Dub bringing out Chapter 2 and shii...these two dissed Chris at a greater degree than what Sever did but got their HoFs and hell, one of them is supermod. Sever goes into his "alter ego" side, does some flaming on the admins and get's perm ban...

Even though I could care less for Sever, nigga got did wrong...you can't take homeboy's HoF away just cuz he did a couple of flame posts to the admins. What he did to the text part of RF outweighs that...

Like I said...it'll all boil down to what Chris thinks cuz only he can make decisions of un-permabanning. And you won't need to give away your "HoF" opt, if Chris makes the decision to void this shii, Sever will be HoF of 2005 and you'll still be "HoF" of 02 or 03..whichever year it was...

Everyone keeps counting out mag-1, he's in the hall of fame too. In fact I think there was 2 hall of famers introduced in that year.

Anywho, Chris deserves the flaming most the time. As far as Avarice, he didn't. What Sever said about him may be true. He may not care if he pays for the site the rest of the year, or big on the site. He's still admin, and he does pay for the site, and I know Avarice didn't say anything to sever that would warrant being called a 'faggot' and such. That's bannable. If someone the site didn't particularly care for there wouldn't be a single person questioning it. If it was crit, nobody would give a shit, nobody would find a fault in it.

Anywho, I think banned or not Sever should be in the hall of fame. I also think he should be unbanned, but only because he was already banned for that comment to Avarice. He shouldn't get punished for it again. If he was to say something else similar to what he said to Avarice again, then yea deserves a permabanning if and when it happens.

I was banned for no reason at all so im guessing calling a contributer a faggot is more than reason to get banned when comparing the two instances. But like I said Sever is here whether he is posting or not. He still sees everything and speaks through other members either way. And he obviously cares if hes here or not. I personally voted for him on half the damn categories so atleast put him in the HOF. Members want him there apparently. And like op said if this forum is for the community and not just the owner then he should rightfully be inducted seeing as the community has spoken on how they feel. On the other hand he hasnt done much for the site besides post some of the best text pieces of the year.. but what memebers here do? Only 2% of completely active members are mods and as far as I know nobody really donates. He does more than the average member just based on the amount of nice pieces he drops. I dont really know the kid but me being banned for a jackass reason myself.. i feel his side. Let him come back. But really the only reason I came in here is because I want to personally say how much KaZe and Doctor Chicken are missed. Damn them both for leaving.
