I actually went to go see this movie with my girlfriend tonite, yes a wendsday night around 7:05 I think it was. Well, when I walked in the theater I was getting bad vibes allready that the movie was gonna be like all these reviews I read about the film, BORING. Me and my girl made up about a population of 7 people in this big ass IMAX theater. Not to mention on top of that the theater smelled like old feet, as my girlfriend refered it as. But by the end of the film .........
I WAS AMAZED! I Don't know what the critics were smoking when they reviewed this film but it was honestly one of the best films *by a musical artist* that iv'e seen in a very long time. The ending had my mouth dropped open and I honestly was amazed. I recomend everyone go see this movie, wait for the DVD or whatever, but if you love music and you love Outkast ... this is your trip, Idlewild!

honestly, dre and big boi are both below average actors and the plot of the movie was rather simple. i absolutely love the music and the soundtrack has been on a constant fight with 'the game theory' for play as of recently but the movie itself isn't anything to get excited about... entertaining? yes... worth a recommendation? no.
so, in conclusion just skip the movie but make sure to get the soundtrack.

haha, feel you AV...I think the music just fit the movie and the music had me up in about, especially how Dre re-performed "She's In My Lap" at the end....nice!

well Rolling Stone gave it 4 out of 5 stars so hey....its a good movie for the most part!
