Default More Olympians Say Rap Music Helps Them Compete

After Michael Phelps revealed last week that Lil Wayne's "I'm Me" from The Leak EP before reaching, literally, for gold medals, NBC's Today Show did a profile "iPod Investigation" with a number of olympians this morning.

Phelps further revealed that he might be the highest profile Def Jam supporter, revealing that Young Jeezy and Jay-Z join Lil Wayne among his favorite artists.

Jamaican track star Dwight Thomas added that since hearing of Phelps' success, he has begun listening to "I'm Me" as well.

Mary Wineberg, the United States' 400 Meter specialist stated that she's an avid Beyonce fan, citing B'Day album as the soundtrack to her one hour warm-up.

Other athletes cited Garth Brooks and Shania Twain in their iPods.
