ok, first of all the suspension is obviously AFTER jail time..so lets say a year even of jail time, thats im almost positive another full year of suspension

right there brings it to him not playing til 09, and that seems about the best case scenerio

then you have to factor in what team he'll be trying to go back to

he could be back next year...i dont think he will get a full year of suspension..i think he will do his time and be back on the field next year..after mabey 8 games suspension..cuz he pleaded guilty for dogfightin charges and mabey one other lesser charge..im not sure..but the nfl will give him a suspension for that..and it wont be a full year..cuz there main concern is did he gamble and i dont think they can prove he did..and if they some how think he was puttin money on dogs..he will be banned most likely for life..but i doubt it..and look at jamal lewis..he went to jail for 6 months and then when he got out he was playin football..i think he might of got a 4 game suspension..not sure tho

W4A i really think thay MV possibly took the plea because hes looking down the road career wise i almost believe that MV really didnt want to plead guilty thats why it took him a long time to do the final plea that he did.

People that say they "would have not took a plea" are lying, because the gangsta approach doesnt work when the pressure is on for your Life in a court of law.especially when you have close to 300 million to lose MV lost 130 mil for his nfl contract plus possibly that from NIKE REEBOK and other companies affilliated with him.

if the fedwral courts get Barry Bonds they will go after him just like they did Mike Vick.

He will be banned from the NFL indefinetely. I don't see the commissioner doing anything less then that. Vick lied saying he had NOTHING to do with it on numerous occasions, & now he is not only pleading guilty but proves he was lying & remember, the gambling part of it is still looming, this isn't over by a long shot.

The judge that is handling the case is known to add jail time & throw the pleas out the way. I see him getting 2-3 years in jail & probably only serving 1-2.

But, I don't see him ever playing in the NFL again. He may have to go to Arena Football....
