You seen new artist getting deals from Am. Ideal, you have seen dancers coming from dance show to getting dancing parts on the big screen. You have always heard of rap contest, battles and rap freestyles but now often do you hear of rappers moving to bigger and better things? How is this when rap and hip hop has the most influence on the youth and in the world hands down? Who wants to be a Rap Star!!!
When rap first started, no one thought it would go as fare as it has and it’s still growing. It has grown into movie sound track to little kids cartoons shows. They are using short raps to keep the kids into what is going on within the show. Rap music was categorized as R&B but because of its fast growth, it has made its own category called hip hop. And this is only the start.
Record labels have giving rappers the chance to turn their lives around from working the streets to becoming big business people. Learning the business of music and then doing positive things in their community. We don’t hear too much about the positive things that rap music has done for the world we live in but is coming out slowly. The media point out all negative things about rap, rappers as well as rap contest ending in fights. This has got to STOP!!!
The makers of The World’s Largest Rap Contest is calling all rappers to this challenge to stop the negative and farceuse more on the positive side of rap. One of the rap contest challenge is to research top rappers and use some of the positive things they has done in their raps. This way more youth will learn about the good their rap stars are going. Let us give the media no other choice but to support this.
As unsigned rap artist who are looking to further their careers get into The World’s Largest Rap contest, they are learning important music industry business skills and artist development which has gotten lost some where down the line. An A&R can always tell if rappers have any artist development in their back ground. They listen to a rap artist lyrics and hear all about him, him him… I, I, I, and me, me, me. In this contest rappers are learning it is not always about them. They are learning how to write more about what others want to hear or what others are more willing listen to. Ok… that was a freebie for all. The World’s Largest Rap Contest has lots of good information for the rapper who thinks they have what it take to be a magi star. But most importantly, contest helps all rappers learn their week points and how they can develop them.
