i think love is temporary with some couples.....cuz obviously not everyone lasts forever.....but u see couples havin 50th anniversaries n that kinda shit.........they wouldnt be together for 50 years if there love was temporary

True love is eternal...the problem is love is often thrown around too loosely...we conivince ourselves that love and time are the same thing..it doenst matter how long you are with someone..if you do not respect them on a basic level there is no love period...so all these people willing to cheat, share their partner and all the other non sense cant then say oh i loved them..temporary love is almost an oxymoron truthfully...Khalil Gibran says it best:

i think if people live long enough, they find someone that they hold on to in their heart. They hold them dear. some women if they fell deep in love with someone they have a hard time letting that go, regardless of who comes after.

"True" love is eternal. There is nothing temporary about it. That is why I've tried to raise my kids to wait until they are married to have sex. People who believe "luv" or "lust" are the same are gravely mistaken when their latest "fling" turns out to be a real stinker and they are looking again for someone to "luv."

Love is not so much a state of being as it is an "action." Love is something that you "DO" or "HAVE" for someone. The Bible quotes Jesus as saying that there is no love greater than that of someone who is willing to lay down their life to save someone else. That sure doesn't sound like the latest "booty call" or infatuational flavor of the week.
