to be done? For what...you can't take a bunch of .avis and watch them on anything but a computer. Practically speaking.

google search for an avi to dvd format converter, or something like that, I used to have one on my old comp, but I don't remember what it was called

blah, that's the kind of shit you're going to waste lots of time on to have it not work. Yes I guess if there was a reliable converter for .avi to some dvd compatible format it could happen. It would probably take a goddamned week and a half
