Rep Power: 10 | I Am the Knicks Savior some of you might remeber the lil thing i did over a year ago titled "How to Save The Knicks"
well i'm gonna propse some trades that do work (money and talent wise, and checked over by the realgm.com trade checker) for the Knicks
New York trades: Fredrick Weis (No games yet played in 2004/05)
Allan Houston (No games yet played in 2004/05)
New York receives: Luke Ridnour (9.5 ppg, 2.1 rpg, 5.8 apg in 30.9 minutes)
Vitaly Potapenko (No games yet played in 2004/05)
Rashard Lewis (20.9 ppg, 5.0 rpg, 1.1 apg in 39.4 minutes)
Change in team outlook: +30.4 ppg, +7.1 rpg, and +6.9 apg.
this is from Seattle, and this trade is perfect. Nobody wants Allan Houston anymore, Siah been trying to drop that contract off for a minute. Rashard Lewis is a young, talented, and because of this season, accustomed to winning. Potapenko got a broken finger, so he's gonna be out for some time, but atleast he aint on some vince carter shit with his body. Would make a great backup center when healthy. Luke Ridnour is mos def coming into his own this season. The best backup for marbury possible for the knicks. He's averaging 6.6 assist in the last 5 games!
Fredrick Weis is the french guy Vince dunked over....we dont want him on the squad, period.
Here's another trade from the mastermind (me)
New York trades: C Nazr Mohammed (12.6 ppg, 9.7 rpg, 0.1 apg in 28.8 minutes)
New York receives: C Eddy Curry (13.2 ppg, 6.1 rpg, 0.8 apg in 26.6 minutes)
PG Frank Williams (1.2 ppg, 1.0 rpg, 1.6 apg in 10.2 minutes)
SG Adrian Griffin (2.4 ppg, 2.6 rpg, 1.3 apg in 11.1 minutes)
Change in team outlook: +4.2 ppg, 0.0 rpg, and +3.6 apg.
Now this trade can be great or gay depending on Eddy Curry. The whole league feels like Eddy Curry would explode if he ever left Chi-Town (his mother suggested Eddy leaving his hometown a couple times) Curry May not get 10 boards now but its a possiibility in New York. Tyson Chandler letting everybody know Kanye aint the only one holding down the baords in the windy city, and it just didn't leave much room for Eddy to try. Frank and Adrian is basicly bait for another trade.
with all that shit behind us lets look at the Knicks new roster
pg steph
sg jamal
sf rashard
pf timmy
c eddy
6 like rid PG
7 penny SG
8 ariza SF (the boy is niiice, thankyou UCLA)
9 sweetney PF
10 Vitali C
11 Jerome
12 Frank
the rest riff raff (IE: Vin Baker)
THAT LOOKS LIKE A GOOD TEAM TO ME!
next time im saving the Bulls

Rep Power: 10 | money works, it takes stats into account also, its a matter of politics, and team chemistry http://www.realgm.com/src_tradechecker.php

Rep Power: 6 | i dunno, they need to fix that shit or something. money is one thing, but the reality doesn't work. New York trades: Fredrick Weis (No games yet played in 2004/05)
Allan Houston (No games yet played in 2004/05)
New York receives: Luke Ridnour (9.5 ppg, 2.1 rpg, 5.8 apg in 30.9 minutes)
Vitaly Potapenko (No games yet played in 2004/05)
Rashard Lewis (20.9 ppg, 5.0 rpg, 1.1 apg in 39.4 minutes)
allan houston is a softass bitch. i wish we could get rid of his bitchass, but it certainly couldn't be done here. houston for lewis would be a fairly even trade, even though i wouldn't do it if i were Seattle. then you have luke (who has been playing pretty solid) and an sad ass Potapenko... anyway you slice it, New York would get the better end of the deal because Weis is expendable. New York trades: C Nazr Mohammed (12.6 ppg, 9.7 rpg, 0.1 apg in 28.8 minutes)
New York receives: C Eddy Curry (13.2 ppg, 6.1 rpg, 0.8 apg in 26.6 minutes)
PG Frank Williams (1.2 ppg, 1.0 rpg, 1.6 apg in 10.2 minutes)
SG Adrian Griffin (2.4 ppg, 2.6 rpg, 1.3 apg in 11.1 minutes)
again, this would be one of the most idiotic trades in history. i still think New York would get the better end of the deal if we straight up swapped Muhommed for Curry, but adding Frank Williams and Adrian Griffin is just absurd. sure they aren't putting up big numbers, but there's no way in hell that wackass Nazr is worth all that.
shit... i'd love to see it though. |

Rep Power: 7 | Rashard Lewis would be an impossible trade the way he's playing now.

Rep Power: 10 | you gotta look at it from the other team side too
rashard lewis is pure scoring right now for seattle (6-10 only 5 boards a game? 1 assist) ray allen and allan houston is an even better shooting combo then him and R Lewis. Allan Houston still got a couple 50 pointers left in him. Now the Luke part would make u go wtf, but dont forget about Antonio Daniels who was last year's starter. 4th in assist per turnover this year (luke is 5th), number 1 last year. He's 6'4 long and athletic, and ronald murray could slip into a back up point role since he wont be starting. Tright now Seattle is a very wholesome place for basketball and they dont need players like Vitaly Potepenko getting drunk and resisting arrest http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/news/story?id=1869626
as for the Bulls trade, Curry been a trade peice since he got there. No way in hell he resigns with them. Jerry Kraus is tired of picking potential players, he wants now players. Nazr is the 5th best Center in the league right now.Frank Williams and Adrian Griffin make the money work.

Rep Power: 6 | you're overrating houston. yeah he's had some good games, but 90% of people would rather have lewis. |

Rep Power: 5 | nazr probably is the 5th best center...seeing that there are basically no true centers in the league. he's alright, but those trades wouldnt go through with me making the decisions. i still respect all your trades though, cus you have backup info for each one. |

Rep Power: 7 | How long is Houston out for? He was hittin a lot of 3's last season, and the Knicks could use that.
