This is old, but I just had to put this up in here. I was watchin 60 Minutes some time ago, and I came across the interview of how North Karean students viewed us. See, their school administration have recently issued copies of the Anne Frank Diary for the students to keep up on other country's literature. So in the interview, the students were comparing Bush to Hitler and our prisons to the Nazi camps the Jews were sent to. I found this to be disgusting... We're not that bad, are we? And on top of that, they say world peace can't be obtained unless every single American is whiped out from the face of the Earth. That's on some bullshit... What do y'all think?

yeah i mean what run said is true but i think the reason N. Korea is teaching thier youth that bush is hitlor has a whole lot to do with how the UN is trying to impose restrictions on thier nuclear program. I mean dont go thinking bush is hitlor because of 60 min. North Korea is like our worst enemy if they were as weak as Iraq we would have already taken them out. The main difference that needs to be understood that isnt in alot of foreign countries is that hitlor was trying to take over the world, as the world leader thiere is responsibilities most people in america think Bush failed, we will take him out and in November we will have John Kerry.

we would have taken North Korea out except i dont think china would allow it.. and due to the wars in iraq and afghanistan we dont have much support worldwide to keep them out of it...and might i mention if mars will be an achievement for mankind.. it is one tht will not happen without america.. there is no other copuntry with a space program like ours.. also side note.. our country spends a lot of money a year on helping keep people fed.. but its based on a you work to help yourself.. theyll work to help you basis.. even tho more should be done to help homeless get jobs.. cuz its hard to get one when you have shit for clothes and have no place to list as a residence.. now i agree america is fucked up.. and i dont believe iraq was attacked for the reasons that were broadcast...

in the end.. the world will never be happy unless we only do what they think is right.. noone mentions the billions we give to countries around the world a year or all the humanitarian aid groups based out of america helping all over the world.. just some counterpoints

oh and ps.. we could probably feed all our citizens.. if we quit feeding starving 3rd world countries and making loans to keep other countries governments afloat

but yes run had a lot of strong points you basically just pointed out bushes focuses as a leader: defense and nasa... i think north koreas hurt cuz we placed them in the 'axis of evil' with some justafiable reasoning behind the placement... now i dont support bush in any way but i sure damn do support my troops and will not talk down about what is happening... the fact of the matter in the us is its run by big business, bush appeals to the pockets of big businesses and therefore i almost see him getting re-elected, which is quite disturbing... but no matter what happens foreign countries will always hate the us until they go to a war and we agree to become their allies so why not brainwash students like in north korea build a foundation of hate early and the disposition will stick especially since as sem pointed out they are actually a threat to us if a war were to arise.
but as far what north korea is calling us who really cares, thats exactly what gets our nation in trouble to begin with, we need to just focus on problems at home cuz were far from a 'perfect' nation ourselves.

i think the ideas being instilled into n korean students is based on the problems the us and n.k are having with eachother. the oppression kim jong il inflicts onto these people, is ridiculous, and i believe him and his followers probably are working to diminish what integrity the US has left by giving the youth of n.korea these radical ideas about the us that are untrue. although we are represented by a power hungry, trigger happy president, we as people as a whole are a more peaceful intelligent nation who i hope try and stray away from conformity and formulate our own valid opinions. but im off topic prolly. i think that although we've been having problems with n.korea bush has only worsened thm by insisting upon all the searches and what not. when its being completely hypocrital since we got them ourselves...and someone brought up the axis of evil, which to me is laughable, the name is absolutely ridiculous and unnecessary, the countrys on it, tho valid i suppose don solely cover the only countries giving terrorist threats. iran is on in, and im partia to them cuz im from there, but the country isn harboring major terrorists openly like al queda which countries like saudi arabia and afghanistan are, or countries like pakistan.....well im rambling and off topic but w.e my thoughts
