the first half-life is the most overrated game ever. if not for counter-strike i probably would've used it as a coaster. the pc heads have been souping this one up for a while now though, so i'm sure it's alright. if i liked playing on the computer i'd probably cop it. | |

ive never been a fan of fps on console games. i was raised using a keyboard and mouse as controls for it. golden eye was arite, but i cant stand the double analoge of halo 2. plus the level design didnt do much for me.
half life 2 on the other hand..wow. the sheer magnitude of the levels, the scriped sequences, and the physics engine are unbelievable.
counter-strike source is basically the same ol counter-strike everyone knows and loves, just transfered to the new hl2 engine which makes it pure sex. | |

You'd be suprised how much of the game isn't scripted when it feels like it is. I went back and replayed certain favorite levels, and they played out completely different. I don't want to mention any to avoid spoilers, but I was amazed that the AI was that fluid to the point it was mistaken as script.
You think the physics are fun now, just wait.. lol.
