Rep Power: 7 | i couldnt be fucked reading all five pages.
harry potter is ill ive only read four. i heard shes writing the sixth now.
i havent read lord of the rings, only seen one. didnt really care about it. but new zealand hada stand up performance in the first.
right now im reading a trilogy by phillip pullman. the first one is called northern lights. and it was the illest shit ever. best novel ive read in a long time. wonderfull plot. excellent descriptive writing. and the characters are hot. it one like some book of the year award. critics say it's the best work since tolkien. i would say it is.
got fifty pages left in the third and final book. its sad when you finish a good one
another excellent must read is the colour of water. its a true story. almost made me cry. mad heart felt. jsut dope all round.

However for Literature I Deem anything written by Walter Mosley quite godly..
Always Outnumbered, Always Outgunned - Worth quite the peep, a quick read but very enjoyable.
Walking the Dog - The Sequel to that book, another quick but fantastic read.
.
Paul Beatty (poet in my sig) Wrote a book titled "The White Boy Shuffle" Shits too fucking dope. Peep it, I read it twice already. amazing set of characters, faults and comedy.

Rep Power: 6 | anything John Grisham. i've read everything he's ever put out, and minus The Street Lawyer, all of it is good to excellent. i'm looking forward to copping The Broker this week. A Hip-Hop Story by Heru Ptah. Precision put me on this back in the day and it's an amazing book. i guarantee you 130% that you will love this shit.
Julie Garwood's Mercy or Heartbreaker. this bitch bought me these joints and they were suprisingly entertaining. they got a love story element tied into them, but for the most part their suspense novels.
Matt O'Reilly's Ice Station. i just finished this and it really kept you on the edge of your seat. great characters and just an overall good book. i plan on checking out more from this cat.
just a few to throw out there. |
