its cute and funny...and it would be terrible if will ferrill wasnt in it.

the movie is based around will ferrill,who is a human,but manages to get into santa's toy bag while he is delivering presents at the orphanage. Ferrill's character, Buddy, was put up for adoption by his mom without his dad ever knowing he exsisted.
some odd years later Buddy's elf dad decides to tell him the truth and he is sent off the NYC to find his dad, who is very much like a Scrooge character..living a life of work & forgetting to care about his family.
Buddy in the mean time, ends up workin in the toy section of a department store for a few days when he meets a girl and falls for her.
thru the movie he does some funny ass stuff..and at the same time reunites his dads family and gets the girl...and has time to help out santa when his sleigh crashes.
the acting is pritty good,story line is right up all childrens allies that includes burping scenes.
