Depicting someone's decay. I Woke up with the intention of taking a life today...
Standing pistol in hand - delayed, wondering why I chose this way...
"The end of the world"? Naw the end of him... Act as a beast and tare his flesh at the very least...
If I was a cannibal...I'd treat this as a 'holy feast' - without being 'Killah Priest'!...
Reality speaking...With a lot of options, I'll shoot him as he comes through the door...
Watch him hit the floor with blood coming from his inner core...
Daydreaming options of my crave - similar to zoning out of the starving needy...
I could've... Done the job from an arial view - like the assassination of Kennedy...
I could've... Lit his house on fire - while he slept on his rug...

alright this was a decent battle.

xylo your verse was alot better than last week, you werent trying to stuff things down our throat, you spoke a bit of truth, and stayed on the topic quite nicely didnt think any one would take this approach and i liked it, like your rhyme pattern and lines were pretty basic but it was still effective.

don your shit was ok too, i dont-know but i sort of guessed where this was going, like you set the peice up nicely for the ending line, but i think that overall your verse could have been better..its sort of like you focused to much on the killing of dude and just connected and tied it all back up a the end rather than stay on topic the whole time, with a little story. it was still a decent piece, but i didnt really get into, no vocab or mets etc little imagery,

i think dons verse was ok but xylo's was better, and was clearly the verse i found more appealing so he gets the vote.

Xylo - well done mate...this is the type of thing i wouldve done, just gone on about a lot of ironies... but i think you tied them together a little better then i would with the before and after verse sentences...pretty well written... in one or two parts you forced the flow, but thats not too bad when the rest goes pretty smooth... a lot of good points made in this verse...feelin the approach... i think wording could've maybe been a little tighter, and maybe add a little more puns in there... but no doubt this was dripping with irony...you did a good job and are really gettin into a nice little groove... favorite lines:

Don Mega - hopefully this will be the end of exams for you, i think you said it was... cant wait to see you really put some time and effort in and start elevating nicely...so far you've done a decent job with topicals, with more written comes better writing ability... i gotta go with crit, for the approach you took, u set it up like a story, but the way you wrote it lead people to easily conclude the ending without getting anywhere close to it... one thing i liked was this was a story, but the overall time that passed in the "main event" was a minute or two... him being there and going back over his plan, those were my favorite lines from you... i thought that as an interesting part, cause it really showed he had so many different options and possibilities, and in the end chose one, and that choice led to his demise...i think you brought those options out a little blountly tho... maybe better imagery or more description with the gore could've painted a better picture with it and added to the overall verse... id say tighter story telling, try to make the twist a little more twisty... id recommend my topical aim high... i started off talkin about him becoming a leader, so people are thinking aim high in that category, then i lead up and threw the twist in there unexpectedly... but i think with more time being able to put into it, you will start to do the same very soon... good showing man....




OVERALL - well, i feel like Xylo had an overall more consistent verse... he tied together alot of material nicely, it was well written... Don your story was a little cliche, the twist wasnt much of a twist... but your coming along nicely, so keep at it...

Xylo - Dug your overall approach to the topic. Flow was on for the most part. Would like to see you use some multies to your advantage. Content was type nice; comparisions were nicely done. Overall, was a decent drop.

Don - Would really like to see you write a piece. I can understand that you have tests; had a similar situation this week which made me no show. Flow was pretty good. Didn't really like the repetition of the beginning of the phrase in the middle. Story was nice, but since you built it for the ending, the ending was predictable which is a no no in topicals. Overall, your's was good for a keystyle.
