just found a beatpack..it had drums and a synth loop in it. i used that loop for the main rythm in a track then built around it..

now..i dont know anything about this, is the dude who made that loop entitled to anything if ever the beat makes it big? can i use the beat comercially?

No. Polow Da Don made that new Usher track "Make Love In The Club" from a few loops in Garage Band.
All that shit is free to use.

Most commercial software with loops and drums etc are royalty free. However independent online vendors can charge a royalty fee. So basically if you sell your music they are entitled to a piece of it. So be wary of where you recieve your loops and samples from. Look at terms and conditions, privacy policy, things like that. Read the fine print. That's my advice to you.
