What do yall think about this? How do you think it makes us look in the eyes of our enemies when our former leader, a grown man, sobs in public? Do you think this makes us look even weaker than we are acting toward our enemies?
as i said in my first post, i find this sickening. We are currently fighting an enemy that is attempting to wipe us off the face of the earth, and our leaders are crying on national television. This is now a trend. when george tenet 'resigned' and when rumsfeld 'stepped down' they both cried. Our enemies already think we are weak, this does not help. We shouldn't forget that out enemies are watching us. This is not a good way to show strength. To have a former president, A GROWN MAN, blubbering like a little girl is not a good thing in my humble opinion.

To cry is not necessarily to show weakness imo. I love when you get on the under seige from all angles enemy reconaissance tip though. I doubt your enemies give a fuck personally, but who knows. You may have a point.
But I find both Bushes incredibly embarassing and I'm not even american. I think it's just the complete lack of articulation and eloquence, cause they're both intelligent people. Hell, Dubya's gotten away with some incredible shit thanks to his and his advisors' intelligence.

The thing is, there not just America's enemies. The islamofacists are enemies of the west. Their stated goal is to murder or convert the non-believers and set up a one world islamic government. And they are watching what we do. I just think this gives them more reason to believe that we are weak and will do nothing. They feared us at one point. Now iran's saying basically 'we are going to get a nuke and theres nothing you can do about it. fuck you.' And this blubbering doesn't help our cause of appearing tough.

i agree. I dont think, like many people do, that george w is a 'retard,' he is just not a good communicator. I dont agree with alot, recently most, of his policies, but i do not think he is dumb. I swear it makes me sad for democracy when he's speaking to America and the whole world and makes up words and fucks up what he is trying to say. I think more people would be behind some of the things he is doing if he was able to articulate the need MUCH better.

Man, U forever amaze me, your the epidomy of a brainwashed American. Do you really think your country is fighting a "War on Terror"? What is that? How do you do that? Blow up Iraq & cuase immense pain to millions of innocent people who had different ideals to you? Oh, but remember 9-11 theres your evidence there, it excuses anything you do as a nation in the middle-east for the next 20 years.
