I do understand your point. However, your missing some caveats, statistics, and Clinton tradition in your somewhat astronomical equasion.
1. If Obama is the Democratic Nominee Hillary will support him (BLUF).
2. She is down in every poll. (BLUF)
3. Its a race (competition) to become the nominee...everything is cynical , has to be in order secure the nomination and/or pursue undecided voters .
The contrast is very different when running against different parties , which you will see in the upcoming race between the Democratic & Republican nominee.
Im just as cynical in the debate we are having in this thread, as you are.
