Topic#1: The Kings will most definitely will not have a chance of winning a championship without webber. He would have to do more than just put up great numbers for this team to win. He has to play more aggressive than he did before he was injured. The replacement for Webber has not stepped to his level so they would need him on the court with his rebounding ability and his all around dominance. He is one of the biggest if not the biggest go to guy on this team. The Kings would benefit from this a lot cause it wouldn’t put as much pressure on the other players to perform extra hard without his presence so its very important that he comes back healthy and ready to play. I agree with this totally, except for when you said that Webber's replacement has not stepped up. Brad Miller has been playing great, but it is a known fact that C-Webb is the go to guy on the team. 9/10 points.
Topic#2: I buy it, this will benefit the Yankees more than anything else they thought of or did. Soriano is a goodplayer but he barely possess a fraction of rodriguez’s overall talent. He’s without a doubt great a bad and twice as good on defense and I think on behalf of the Yankees staff it was a very wise on picking up Rodriguez since the loss of andy petite and roger Clemens even though they don’t play the same position. I agree with what you said about Clemens and Petite, and yes A-Rod is a better player then Soriano, but should the Yankees have gone after pitching? 7/10 points.
Topic #3:
Absolutely not, these are grown individuals with a complete staff to help them with decision making. They should learn to take responsibility with their finanace and the rest of the league should not have to suffer with a salary cap due to the unprofessional management of their money. Yes, I agree, most owners spend money on themselves, but are small market teams with no attendance at a disadvantage? 8/10 points.

topic 1: of course the kings will still have a chance to win the NBA finals, they can beat the lakers without him.. he'll need to get used to playing again, but once those games go by i don't think the kings can be stopped, with the exception of maybe minnesota in a series.. webber will nothing but more skill to the team. Yes, Webber will be nothing but more skill, but Vlade is getting old, and if Brad Miller gets into early foul trouble who will guard "The Daddy?" Webber is their go to guy. 7/10 points.
topic 2: you have to buy of course, a-rod argueably(sp?) the best player in baseball today.. it just adds more power to an already great team.. soriano has been putting up good numbers for the yankees.. and the rangers get a great up and coming player.. the only problem would be him getting used to 3rd base.. but now this could be the most feared line up in baseball history Yes the transition to 3rd base will be tough, not everybody is Cal Ripken. I said the same thing to Atomz, what about a left handed pitcher? 8/10 points.
topic 3:yankees are just a smart organization.. you can't lower the caps, look at the marlins.. they even beat the yankees last year.. you cant make the excuse that the yankees have too high of a salary cap..if they used it as a power weilding giant they would get every all star on every team.. and have the money to pay them off.. the other teams just have to figure out a way to fix themsevles, hey.. the marlins did it. I agree with you 100 percent, but what about the small market teams with no fans in the seats to pay the players. Ehh, tough topic to judge. 8/10 points.

Topic 1: The kings have the #1 record in the NBA right now.The Formula there working with right now is great and is doing something since they have better records than the highly acclaimed T-wolves and the high rated Pacers. You dont really hear much about the kings but theyre there with the best record. In for chris webber is brad Miller. One and probably the best thing for the Kings This season. With Webber out this season he has been one of teh top players behind peja averging over 10 rebounds a game and 15 points per game. They are dominant in The pacific anf will be a tough match in the playoffs. With Chris not himself they wont make it. The T-wolves who they might eventully face in the playoffs Have the top foward in the league. The foward who hasent played a game all year and especially after the all star break with less than half the season left. He will not be able to compete with any of teh real teams competing in the west. First they will have to face the pacific competing with elton brand, Karl malone, shareef abdul rahim just to name a few.Then The Midwest having tim duncan, KG, dirk nowitzki,stromiles swift and others. With Most of the teams that will have a chance a chance in the finals they all have great fowards as their franchise players. The kings will have no chance if they have in chris Webber. Even though he averaged 23 points a game with injurys and suspensions No player comes back as himself or better than he was. I don't really agree with this. They need Webber for depth, because they then will have Vlade coming off the bench. They will need both Miller and Webber to guard people like Duncan and KG. But yes, Brad Miller is the greatest thing to happen to them all year. 6/10 Points.

The yankees Will no doubt be one of the top 3 in the MLB this season without a doubt. The trade for A-rod happened when the 3rd basemen aaron boone gone due to injury They needed a star to win this season. They hated losing to the marlins so they wanted to garuntee the series this season. You cant sell This trade only if you focus on the salary cap. The yankees salary cap is ridiclious but many teams had a shot. Some teams being boston,seattle,Mets, and others but alll backed out. There infield Alone averging over 300 batting averge Last year. the yanks have done nothing but added power to their team Which was probably the best thing they could have done.Arod will quickly adjust to 3rd. Yes, offense is nice, but pitching wins games. Will Kevin Brown be able to fill the whole of Clemens/Petite? I'm suprised all of you said Buy. 7/10 points.
Topic 3: NO way will a salary cap ever work in the MLB. It is impossible for high salary teams like the yankees, Boston redsox, Mets, Seatle, And Orioles. With many of these teams over 100 grand And with many high salary players they will not have enough money to extend contracts with salary extensions and all. If you Wanted a salary cap you would have to do somthing major like take every single player and put them inna huge draft which will never happen. This idea will never work simply because just like america- if you dont have the money you dont have the power Last line was the truth. You all again said the same thing, but I liked the way you explained this. 9 points/10.
