Great topic BTW, I've seen some good choices and for me a great soundtrack really does make the movie.

I couldn't imagine The Shawshank Redemption being so immense without THAT score.

I didn't see Rocky in the list either, surely it's a good call?

For me the 2 maestroes are Ennio Morricone (The Mission, Cinema Paradiso etc) and Hans Zimmer (Gladiator, True Romance etc).
