And this is where hip hop takes a turn for the worse. When you cant be yourself because you'll be criticized by the "tough guys". Then if you decide to try to fit in, you'll be called fake by the "tough guys".
Hip Hop is almost 40 years old, and gangsta rap has been around for maybe half of that. That means all that street cred stuff doesnt make a difference to real hip hop. Let the man do him.

^^^^^ I agree!! Its in that same vein that I hate how if you have certain views, values, or a certain style you can be excluded from groups. Like when I hear people make statements like Barack Obama isn't black because he doesnt talk a certain way, or he has certain views!! Why is it that only our race excludes its people with ignorant statements like that!? Lose your blackness because you dress a particular way, don't seem as "down" as others, or dont think that everything "black" is right!! Kanye is his own person and that is "cool to be" Pharrell is his own person and that is "cool to be" tryna fit a mold of who you think others will accept isnt "cool to be!!!!" I like Beanie, but that shyt was just plain IGNORANT!!!!!!!!!!!!!

First off duke must be high because he sounds DUMB as fuck. Second off son is hating because he cant pull in that Ye and P money. He keeps it so gangsta but his albums aint selling, never have!? Kanye>Beans when you compare albums.

Point is its ignorant. Duke went out of his way to comment on two other men making a living. Son is jelous, hes hurting. Ye and P aint in the hood right now anyway, they out in paris and doing shit that makes them more money. When will people wake up and get back on track with the whole hood shit, get OUT not get IN. Beans needs to relax, stop being sour, and try and make what little money he still can.
