allright. i have these three mics, and im tryin to see if anyone knows which one will produce the best quality. its been years since i bough/ used these, so i dont remember how much i spent, etc.



1st: CAD CAD125

2nd: EV Dynamic Cardioid N/D157B

3rd: Audio-technica [Cardiod Lo-Z Dynamic] MB1000L


anyone know which is the best?

i would say just use each and see which has better quality........i mean each one of those is better than the one i use and it works just fine......

with low quality mics like those the difference isnt much between them. at that level quality ouput is determined more from your mastering techniques and recording software. you need to invest in condensor mics. you can pick up a decent one for about $200 bucks and with that you'll need an interface with phantom power and again a decent one will run you about $150-200 software generally comes with the interface. but you want to work towards getting an actual studio mic which can easily run you about $600. higher the price of equipment generally means better sound which also means less time spent mastering. but if you know somebody thats really good with mastering such as myself they can make basic shit sound pretty damn close to studio quality.

Audio-technica [Cardiod Lo-Z Dynamic] MB1000L are ok for low budget. I personally use the Audio Technica 3035 but I also have a lot more equipment - but yea man to answer your question go with the AT...
