this is my first ever big band arrangement, it was done for 5 saxes, 4 trumpets, 4 trombones and the whole rhythm section. its a live recording so yeah the quality isn't 100%

its real smooth...i can feel it alot more where its more relaxed...like you said i guess when it gets real hype it peaks or sumn...live recordings....i kinda pictured a black and white cartoon of an old jazz bar and that coyote looking cat and that fine ass cartoon chick....ha...nah but did you play any of the instruments or you just wrote it or sumn or recorded it?

starts off smooth but sounded slight distant, picks up nicely, this is a great recording of a live band.....the quality is nice, it sounds like one instruments is too loud sometimes but i cant tell which one it is....this is nice work tho dude, keep it up...go places! peace!

whoa, I guess its safe to assume that I wont hear any lyrics or choruses on here. This sounds like it took alot of work to do. As far as I can tell this is pretty good. I dont hear any quality issues that stand out to me.

This is a very cheerful melody.. makes you want to forget your problems. Wow, a lot is going on here.. jazz is entirely out of my league in terms of giving advice/critique.. I can't say anything bad about this except maybe centering more of the dominant sound on one prominent instrument for a distinctive sound.

^^Exactly what I was feeling. My pops is a straight Jazz head, so I've grown up around it my whole life. I think that the fact that there's no central instrument in this makes the sound seem scattered. One instrument needs to be the centre. I like the dynamics of it at 3:37; it was a nice switch. I think this joints koo, drummer coulda got a lil more flavorful like he did around 4:15, but no major complaints. Elements of swing always make for a good rhythm.

..big band arrangement huh..coo coo played alto sax from 4th grade ta 8th then picked up drums..so music's been round me for a while..so i hope this turns out good mayne listenin now..

wow 1st mayne..im really impressed by tha quality of this..u shouldnt even be trippin bout that..sounds good ta me..2nd i could honest hear this at starbucks..fa reals its got that kickback..chill..vibe to it..im gon agree wit jabbs bout tha one instrument that stands out shit but here it sounds lik everyone gets a lil solo ta show off wut they got & i think thats coo..i was wonderin when tha drummer was gon maybe kick sumthing u know his solo or sumthing but aye overall i thought tha arrangement was good avarice..& id be more then happy ta drop feedback on another piece u do that this again..
