Are CREW BATTLES bad?

I'm new here so i'm always looking for clarification and knowledge so that i wont be the stupid guy who thinks he knows everything.

I am in the group Immortal Elements and there was a challenge issued to the crew Savage Lands, i believe. I'm not sure what precipitated this action, but regardless in the end a challenge was issued.

The gents of SL have categorically ignored the request for a crew battle w/o the slightest reason y. I think it would be simple to respond & say "we're scared" or "u guys r stupid" or "our members are not as skilled as yours" or "we dont like crew battles" etc. & i believe my crew would simple drop the matter & move on. But thats the adult in me speaking & i may be assuming that i'm dealing with adults & that may be wrong.

so maybe my crew may be doing somehing out of the ordinary with this crew battle stuff & the challenge shouldnt have been issued anyway, due to historic premises of RF.

just curious..somebody enlighten me. Thanks for the help.

Crew battles are good, but there's barely enough of Savage Lands members around.. beef between crews on RF ended long ago, and even when it did exist, it survived, barely.

I have a proposition for you..

How about DC vs. Immortal Elements have an open mic diss-off?

As a new member i certainly cant enter the crew into a "battle contract" but i dont think this will be a problem. I'll post a thread in our forum immediately & give u a decision asap.

Pem, i understand about beef, but can u not battle w/o "real" beef? A friendly battle is always in order to keep the skills sharp. & i think if SL only had say 3 members, a 3-on-3 battle would give the site some good reading. I'm not buying low member count, or lack of beef as valid excuses to not do what u log on here to do, write, record, share hiphop,etc.

i love crew battles... its just as a whole CREWS aren't very active on here... I.E. is the most active crew... Group Therapy is kind of active...

and of course battles without real beef occur... look at the RFBL... not that many participants really beef with each other... and the ones that do make for extraordinary battles...

If a call out is straight up ignored... then all the reasons you gave as examples are pretty much implied... cause most would accept it...

theres a reason why i'm the last of the fighting hellfish...

there's always room for our crews to battle pem..it something that has been discussed plenty of times but we're looking to settle a specific score here..but as long as the rest of the heads are down i dont see why we couldnt do it..

DC would battle.. but the only members that'd probably be down to battle would be me and Phonix.. everybody else is just in relaxation mode, only coming to RF to check in, leave some feedback, and depart again.

I have another proposition for you..

I say, me and Noggah, "The Fighting Hellfish" vs. all of Immortal Elements in a 12-series Bar Brawlin' slobberknocker.. Phonix could jump in too, but he's in an HF tournament right now so he's busy..

You know... i was just thinking about going solo HellFish against the Elements ... but it would be nice to have some company on my side...

im kind of on hold at the moment tho... im about to have this audio tourny... where i plan on making it through a good bit of rounds... while the RFBL is ongoing with mag writing, open mic mag writing, plus i got 2 monster collabs i gotta get verses done on...

usually the RFBL and one open mic a week is relaxation mode for me... tell DC to get active!!!

the HellFish never back down tho... even when reversing on a hill...

haah the reason my crew wont battle is cuz they dont really do text other than me and i dont really do punch battles much.. and if u guys audio battle us i am 10000% we will accept

and the beef between the crew is me and exis and we are dealin with it through om diss.... so leave it be unless u audiop battle us

Sir I'm not aware of any beef. i just joined like last week, so the particulars r not within my scope of knowledge. There was a challenge issued & NO RESPONSE. No 1 said, "we dont do text, only audio, etc." it was just CRICKETS....

u & exis have nothing to do with me. I asked a question. & i am free to do that. its your perogative whether u choose 2 answer. & i dont have to "leave it be" b/c u said so. i repsect that u r a free-thinking individual & i ASK adults to do things. u COMMAND children. so if u would like me to let this matter slide..ask & it will be taken under consideration. lol im no adult i am 17 and i am not commanding kids.... so do ur research before u make accusations and i just expected everyone in ur crew to know what was goin on... and if u lok now there has been multiple replys in the callout thread
